The best Ceaser Salad ever in my opinion, its been in my family for quite a few generations.
Ingredients~
1/2 head of Romain lettuce
3 pieces of toasted bread, cut into about 1/2 x 1/2 inch squares
1 lemon, cut in half
1 head of garlic
tsp-tbs of worstechire sauce
tbs of mayo
1 cup of olive oil
a pinch of salt and pepper.
Grated parmesan cheese
Stuff you need~
1 small mixing bowl
1 large salad bowl (I mean those big ones that are like a foot or bigger in diameter~)
salad mixers (the big wood forks and spoons)
what do do~
STEP 1~ Pour the cup of oil into the small mixing bowl, then take 4-6 cloves of garlic off of the head, crush them and peel of the papery layer of them (important that you crush them first.) Then dump the crushed garlic in the oil to sit while you do the lettuce.
STEP 2~ Take about 10-15 large leaves off of the Romain, wash them, tear them or cut them into bite size pieces, and set them aside to dry.
STEP 3~ Put lettuce into large salad bowl and put in toasted bread squares (Croutons) into the bowl with the lettuce
STEP 4~ Press the garlic one final time at the bottom of the bowl to release the juices, then take the garlic out, and throw it away. Add mayo, pinch of salt and pepper, worstechire sauce, and the juice of half of a lemon. Mix thouroghly, then once it becomes like a sauce, all mixed together, add to the lettuce and croutons.
STEP 5~ Mix up so the sauce coats the salad, and then mix in 1/3 of the parmesan cheese in the same manner. Add the rest on top after serving.
Serves 3-5 people, prep and cook time is about 20 minutes, serve immediately after making~

These are to die for. I find it works best if you use oreo baking crumbs rather than trying to crush a bunch up. For the frosting, start with the base amounts, and add more butter, icing sugar, milk, and crumbs as desired.
