My favorite song is Tip Of The Iceberg, and the best I can understand it, is that it's about 1. ice skating 2. wintertime. and 3. possibly love.
Most of his songs seem to be about... love.

I believe it is about him being in love with a girl, but also being far away from her. He is saying that he'll do anything he can do to make a difference in their relationship, to reach her.
And then there's that touch of winter and nostalgia in it. owo
