What a super-unfair question! gonk

I can't decide because each rendition of Squall is just sheer perfection (but then again, I'm obessed with him so it's not surprising that I'd think that.)

The only nitpick I have is actually about the Dissidia design but that's more of Tetsuya Nomura's fault because he's obviously a little blind (he said he based that outfit design off of one of Yoshitaka Amano's images of Squall, but he totally didn't realize that the image Amano did had Squall with his jacket tied around his waist, not the little sash thing Nomura had tacked on). That's it, but I still think it's freakin' sweet anyway. xd

From what I know of, the redesign for Kingdom Hearts was supposed to be closer to Squall's original deisgn (he was supposed to look a little feminine but they told Nomura to change it ) thus the longer hair... No complaints there because it makes him look hawt. whee

I love all 3 versions but my vote's gonna have to go to the Final Fantasy VIII version because we saw that one first. xd

I have to say the dissidia one. It's the game that got me hooked on FF and I didn't like Leon alot.

I'd have to say that I like the FF8 design for Squall because it's the one I saw first and it's hard to break my own imprinted representation of a character once it's been cast. xp That being said I did like the slight modifications that were tried with Squalls outfit in Dissidia, because his overall appearance wasn't altered too drastically. I couldn't warm to the KH interpretation of Squall because the long hair reminded me too much of Trevor Belmont from Castlevania. xd

Long live Final Fantasy VIII's version of Squall!!! I am glad they didn't bedazzle Squall, like they did with sephiroth and a few other characters in dissidia -_- but I still prefer the original look, not only because I am used to that look but because I actually do like it over the other 2 outfits. Squall does look badass in kh1&2 and regrettably thats when I first saw him and decided to look up which final fantasy game he came from and henceforth, I got hooked on ff8 cause of kh..he looks cool in all 3 outfits, but the one that I like the best is his original one...lol when I saw his outfit in ff8 for the first time, I started dressing like him...not literally (cause puffy jacket vests with a really short cut spell out faggotry in the real world but on him Squall its good) I wanted his pants, I copied his cross belt style sometimes and well I just think everything about that outfit is awesome ^_^
