Why is it so hard to get off campus housing? Like seriously?! Miss Chloie and I were going to live on campus one semester, and off the other in order to start getting ready for work and residency.
Apparently that is not an option. We have to either stay the full term or pay 1/2 of of Spring semester term.
Gah!
I hope we can find a good place soon.

That is, pay half of spring term without living there... as a cancellation fee. That's like a $1,000 cancellation fee, guys. o.o

Speaking as a person living on her own (well...with my boyfriend...lol) it's great, but expense wise, my life would be easier if I lived in a dorm. Just something to consider (but I am glad to be out because I was not a fan of living with 5 other people).
Hunting for apartments is super fun though!! Check on craigslist for apartments. It's a pretty good way to find places. I actually found my current place that way. I toured one apartment and the agent who showed it to us brought us to another one she was showing in the same area and it was fabulous and I got it! ^_^
Good luck!! Moving out on your own is super exciting!

We've already lived off campus for a semester but we abandoned the unit because of health hazards and the landlord lies. >.<
We were living with 10 other people. D:
It's because of this residency thing we're trying to figure out. Yama is trying to become an official resident of the state. I'm... not at this point. -nod-nod- but yeah. It's like. uber complicated too. everything is hard here. xD Guess it makes us stronger.

oh man...that's rough. I hope you guys can sort things out. And I'm pretty sure that all landlords suck. Mine isn't a bad person, but he's pretty useless if you want anything fixed in a timely fashion. And my friend's landlord is impossible to get a hold of. And your landlord was a liar. This is why I dislike renting...^_^;
