Biography: Yong Soo is a free-spirited type, obsessed with video games, dramas, studying abroad, and the internet. He always claims credit for others' inventions, and feels that his older brothers should call him their older brother. Even though he is generally serious, for some reason he can't keep his hands off his older brothers, Yao and Kiku. Yong Soo is also a very good artist and once tried to teach Yao how to draw anime.

Korea is quite possibly my favorite Hetalia character. Why?
He's cute, he's funny, and I absolutely love the way Himaruya designed him.
Usually when I think of Korean people, I think of horribly addicting boy bands and annoyingly girly females. When I first got into the Hetalia fandom, I was almost horrified to think that Korea might be personified in such a way.
But, as they say in Korea, every batch of kimchi is different.
Himaruya looked above all the stereotypes of Korean people that exist in Japan as well, and turned him into the cute, somewhat unloved, and very touchy-feely little brother of the Asian family that we known him to be.
