At least that's what the web is pretty much buzzing about. I don't know. I miss the bite that the comics had and I kind of dislike this watered down cartoon version. I understand both sides of the story but I still prefer the boldness that was in the comics than the animated version. I know I'm trying to support a brother but at the same time I am not a major fan.

Thoughts?

I haven't looked for more information on the supposed new season, but as for the comics and the older episodes, the TV show was a little hit-and-miss for me. Sometimes they would have me in stitches, other times it wasn't all that funny (much like Family Guy..). I liked the ballsy-ness of the comics a lot, and I do miss them.

Oh snaps. We have Ms. Cleo in this thread cause what do you know the season premiere is about President Obama. Will it have the same wit as the comic strip or will get dumb down? Either way it will give me something to talk about...

Me being the huge fan that i am have to say that i was excited about the new season. but i didn't think the premier was that funny though. I like the one after that. The comics are still the best. Is he still on hiatus for the comics.

Actually, he's retired the comic as per the official site. (Haven't been collecting the trade backs huh?) Anyway seems like they will be doing a movie as well.

I don't that last one kind of killed it for me. I want to see Cesar and more Cindy. I want to see Riley in school and some of the themes that were in the comic strip that are missing in this series. Less jiving and more jabbing is what I was asking for. Yeah way too many people keep comparing it to family guy and I hate Family with a passion.

Nope, I have been a very bad fan. Yea i think those days are done though. I mean the last couple of episodes have been so far away from how the comics have been in a way. I don't think its going to turn into family guy just yet though. I still have hope
