and my cousin has just made my addiction worse thanks to showing me how to download music. *lol, yeah, I really didn't know how to download music. I should change my name to Computer_Duntz*
Anyways, now that I've got it, I'm looking for new bands and stuff. I'll listen to just about anything, but I'm really interested in hearing foreign music. And jazz, because somehow my collection has none whatsoever.
And since we're on the topic of music:

I'm ashamed to admit, though, I also was looking for the song Real Emotion from FF X-2: the song Yuna sings right at the beginning. I don't know why, but I love it.
I didn't find the original, but I found a remix of it with japanese lyrics, so, woot! sweatdrop

some good foreign bands (J-rock/metal) that i listen too: Maximum the Hormone-J-metal/rock, also, pretty much System of a Down if they were Japanese (in terms of song structure, time changes, etc.) (they did the opening and ending songs for the second season of the Death Note anime) Dir en Grey-Visual Kei (only their older songs), J-rock/metal, they also have the weirdest friggin music video ive ever seen WARNING! UNCENSORED VID LINKED!CONTAINS: NUDITY, LOTS OF BLOOD, ONI-c**k(you'll see what i mean) AND VARIOUS OTHER ******** UP s**tX Japan-think Japanese Metallica Mucc-havent really heard a lot of their songs, despite the fact that i have a Mucc radio on Pandora (which im now gonna listen too, too tired of listening to Korn, Slipknot, SOAD, etc.)... but they're pretty good Yoshida Brothers-instrumental, but they friggin rock XD Asian Kung-Fu Generation-they did the opening for a season of Naruto, pretty good J-rock band Concerto Moon-J-metal/speed metal band, again, same as X Japan, think Japanese Metallica L'Arc-En-Ciel-they did the opening for a season of Full Metal Alchemist, havent really heard a lot of their songs though, pretty good though Malice Mizer-J-goth rock band, actually really good, had Gackt as a singer for the, unsurprisingly named, Gackt era the Pillows- Ride on Shooting Star from FLCL, pretty good, dont care for some of their songs though, other than that good band (listing them now, cause they started playing on my Mucc radio XD) High and Might Color- Ichirin no Hana (lol i spelled it right from memory XD) the opening for Season 3 of Bleach (i think its season 3...) another good J-rock band and thats all i can think of right now, though keep in mind i prefer mainly rock/metal/heavy metal so you may like most of the bands i do

lol Pandora (still listening to Mucc radio) started playing Simple And Clean (KH theme/opening) by Utada Hikaru and i instantly gave it a thumbs up even though its the english version (i prefer the Japanese version) but FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU nostalgia stated kicking my a** DX
started thinking about when i was first playing KH, KH2, when my family and i went to Disney Land down in Florida august of last year (though this was cause of a vid i watched on youtube of the haunted mansion ride someone made using roller coaster tycoon or something) among others
i ******** hate nostalgia -.-

I learned how too download music rather late too so you are not alone in being a computer failure!
I don't download music very often though,
since I truly do believe in buying music.
And as a rule I only dowload music that I can't find anywhere in Iceland or when I'm completely broke,
and if I later see the CD when I have money, I buy it even if I already have on my computer.
But yes.

I can't think of any, I'm pretty shameless. I like what I like and I'm pretty much not feeling any need to be ashamed of it.
For example when I was younger I listened to the Spice Girls, Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys.
I still too this day like a few Spice Girls songs and I honestly think some of Britney Spears earlier music was rather catchy and not all bad at times.
I've comepletely grown out of the Backstreet Boys though, that was a month faze I got over when I was like 12 or something.
I feel no shame over any of those.
I also like some of Justin Timberlakes songs. No shame over that either.
So yah.
I honestly can't think of a song I'm ashamed of liking.

I agree with the whole buying music instead, but I'm cheap, and there's not much here in the boonies. Specially foreign music. That's just something that doesn't exist down here unless it's from the internet.

Visual kei wikipedia article tells you all you need to know about the style, and no, they dont have a song titled visual kei you silly goof ;P thats what style of music they made/played when they first started out example of some of their songs from when they were still visual kei: Child PreyCage (live) sound quality sucks a** though... that and Kyo sounds like he's having an off day...Cage (live '99)this one is pretty much a textbook example of visual kei (at least in regards to flamboyant costumes and such, how in the hell Shinyas' able to keep the beat going without messing up is beyond me O.o) Edit: got one for ya: Filth PVreason being, the following comment (copied pasted from the comments section to here): "Ladies and gentlemen, the glammorized coackroach and the guitarists!" needless to say, i lol'd and gave the comment a thumbs up XD then theres the pv for Jessica, wherein, Kyo kinda looks like Billy Idol O.o never would've thought that had the person who uploaded the vid never said that, but i googled billy idol (i dont know what he looks like) but sure enough, Kyo does look like Billy a bit XD also, another one im posting, simply cause i started watching it: YuramekiZan (live)they have some more but im just too lazy to look right now : P time for some Malice Mizer biggrin (bloody traps... Loved them when I was a kid and I still listen to them occasionally.
The only foreign bands that actually sing in another language that come to mind have already been named by xylert.
the pillows are my favorite Japanese band.
LAST ALLIANCE is also good.
They did the ending theme for Ouran High School Host Club if you've seen that.
Though if you want some foreign bands that sing in english I could probably come up with a few.
When people want foreign music I tend to assume they want a different language.

They did the ending theme for Ouran High School Host Club if you've seen that. yes ive seen it but i didnt know that, gonna go check them out as soon as Pandora's done playing White Zombie's Thunder Kiss '65 ive also read Fruits Basket (ive got vols. 1 and 2 of the Ultimate Edition, which is several books packed into one hardcover book), just because im a guy doesnt mean i read only shonen manga, ive only read a couple of shojo ones, ive also read one or two shounen-ai manga (literally boy's love, not yaoi, i wont read yaoi), namely No Bra and Boys Next Door (this one's pretty violent though) listening to Shissou (ending for Ouran) and its weird hearing it in Japanese when ive only heard it in english up til now, still great though biggrin
