It's coming out on Tuesday here!!
I don't know if I'll get it right away or not. I'm thinking I might.
At first I was defiantly going to get it but just a moment ago I read there's no towns or something?
Eh...I might as well give it a shot.
Then I'm waiting for Resonance of Fate!! (coming out on 16th)
Now that's made by Tri-Ace so I wanna try it out. ^^
Anyone else waiting on it or excited to try it someone in the future?

I saw the ad for that at Fred Meyer yesterday. I didn't realize it was coming out so soon.
I don't know if I'll try it out or not. I'm not too big of a fan of Final Fantasy.
I do, however, have a little Final Fantasy XIII Chocobo pet for my 360 avatar.

I didn't realize either. I thought it wasn't until April and then I looked and found out about it on Gamestop.com.
I'm not too huge a fan of final fantasy either. I tried 10, 11, and 12 before and that...was rather boring. I didn't farther than an hour or two. They were terrible....to me.
I liked the PlayStation 1 versions though. (7/8/9).
I heard this is a bit different from their other games but we'll see.

I bought Bioshock 2 when it came out for my sister. Not my kind of game.
I never have had to pre-order games. I can easily obtain them the day they come out if I want. ^^"

.......Nothing too interesting caught my attention yet though....FF 13 is eh...and the only reason I want Resonance of Fate is b/c it's Tri-ace but it's not a must grab.
When will another Fire emblem come out for the wii? crying
I really liked that game.

Meh, I'm not that into FF anymore... I try to play 10 everyso often, but... blaaah...
Though the graphics were pretty awesome (Lulu was awesome looking! lol)
but as for gameplay... not much. And I hated blitzball. ^^'
FF 8 and 9 were my faves, but I really haven't played much at all.
I think 13's gonna be a bit of a let-down. I've read a little about it, and after finding out that Shiva now has a sister in this game *when did that happen?!* I kinda... just gave up on the series.
I only have a PS2, and it's about to keel over any minute, so I guess it's good that I'm not interested in it...

What I'd really like to see is another 'Chrono Cross' kind of game out. I loved that game... 3nodding

I'm a little turned off by some of the summonings.....apparently they can transform into something the character can ride during a battle....it just seems odd to me. But that's just my opinion....there are some I don't mind like Odin turning into a horse I believe....however.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpW2w-QyIw8&feature=related.....a race car....really?

starts looking through summoning videos... Odin turns into an effin horse. wth? a horse?! Really?! Not even an extra leg or two or something?! baaaahhh... scream However... that Alexander summoning looks pretty cool. At least it's a fort, not a vehicle... Didn't see any video of him... or the phoenix... or any of those good old summoning creatures!!! *cept Bahamut and Shiva* I think FF's finally going downhill...

Ah, the gameplay for Final fantasy 13, especially Versus is too smooth not to get, but I've got no serious cash to buy an XBOX or PS3.
I find it kind of off though out all the final fantasies they came out with 3 final fantasy 13s than making the two really cool ones for other systems, but I guess for that to happen the resources would be an insane amount.
(The three are: the the two are playing as the girl in Final Fantasy XIII, and the guy in Versus, and the other is the card version where you play with cards, with a not too serious gameplay from the looks of it)
(I'm looking forward for them to create a new system so the PS3 can drop probably a couple hundred bucks, honestly).

I bought it yesterday and put almost 5 hours into it. It's amazing!!
I love it!
I understand now what people meant by no towns or it's a straight forward path or it takes past the first 20 hours to get into it. But it all works for me. I think I'll make a review after I get a bit more into it.
(Now I'm looking forward to NEXT Tuesday where Resonance of Fate comes out. FF13 will have to wait a bit once I get that. ^^ hehe.
So far...I have no Summons. I'm at the part where I can now use magic and all though.
The 'having no towns' part isn't so bad. It's like they do have the 'safe' zone but its not like you can interact by pushing a button. Passing NPC's by makes them auto-talk but nothing of interest or importance.
The 'straight forward path' works out for me. My one complaint about video-games now was the incredible time consuming and super long dungeons. Now it's like its all cut down with just you occasion side path that leads to a treasure chest but that's a short side path off the main goal. Very short. I love it!
The part where people say the story doesn't really begin until the mid of the game. Again it works out. Little by little they throw more battle techniques at you. First it's simple then you learn paragrams or whatever ect...so it's not all at one point. You can't change characters so far...you play as the designated leader but that's not bad either. The game in the beginning (at the moment) is more like a movie. You have a cut scene almost every 15 min. lol Something like that.
I'll make a review later on when I get more into the game. ^^
I recommend it!

Maybe I'll get it when the price goes down...until then I await for Dragon Age: Awakening coming next Tuesday. mrgreen - heart Little sad that there is no romancing in the game like the first one though.... sad
