I'd like to attend the Longhorn Music Camp this summer for flute. The problem is, there is NO way my parents would be willing to pay the $495 registration fee, especially since they've already spent a ton of money on band for me in the past few years. So, I've printed out the scholarship application. That brings me to my problem: I'm graduating 8th grade, so I get to choose between HS and MS band camp. I think I've got a really good chance in getting the scholarship if I apply to MS band camp; HS band, not so much, since there will be people WAY more qualified than me applying for financial aid. Thing is, I'm worried that I might not get the opportunity to grow to my fullest potential in MS camp. So, to paraphrase that: Should I apply for MS or HS band camp?
Also: Do I send my scholarship application with my camp application? And, in the section where it says to list your extracurricular activities/leadership positions, can I put my community service?
