This Guide is for people like me-- those who want gold, but don't want to come off as whiny, begging noobs; those who have a goal. This guide is for those who need gold but are honest and hardworking, and want to do it, for the most part, themselves. I earned my dream avatar pretty much on my own, and you can all do it too if you dedicate yourself to it. You may have heard this stuff before, or maybe you haven't. Well, either way, here we go...

1. PLAY BOOTY GRAB
I know what you're thinking. "But Miku, that's what EVERYONE says." Well, everyone is right. However, here's a few tricks I've learned over time.
- First off, what's Booty Grab, and how do I play?
Booty Grab is a game set in Gaia Aquariums. Go to the Forum Directory, and go to the Gaia Aquarium forum. From there, pick a thread. Go to the poster's signature and look at the little aquarium. If it has a Booty Grab symbol, click the tank, and the game will begin. Use the left and right arrow keys or your mouse to move and try to catch as much gold as possible. Catch symbols, too: blue symbols will help you, while red symbols will hinder you. Different colored coins give you more gold. For the number of coins you catch, you earn that much gold! Sweet deal, huh?

- Be smart about whose Booty you grab
Look for threads that sport titles like "Full Dolphin Tank" or "17/17 Watermeats". Full tank threads usually give off more gold. Also, certain fish drop more gold. Look for dolphins, watermeats, mermaids, turtles, lawnsharks, airsharks, Momo Monkeys, Bladed Vases, etc., as they tend to give the most gold. Some threads will have an impressive collection of full fish tanks dedicated to a certain fish. On these threads, you may have to scroll through a few pages before you happen upon an active tank. One of my favorite dolphin threads can be found HERE! Scroll through and play a bit! I've never found this thread empty of games.

- Like in anything, practice makes perfect!
You may start off walking away from your first couple of games with 500 gold. But it gets easier, trust me! As you learn to maneuver the game and how to pick the perfect tanks, you'll gradually win more and more! My record is around 3400 gold from one game. See if you can top my score!

2. ASK FOR A LITTLE HELP
- Don't beg in towns-- save it for your profile!
If there's one thing Gaians with gold to give hate, its beggars. So save yourself the trouble and don't walk around the Rally or Towns asking for donations from nobody in particular. Post a small note near your wishlist on your profile, saying something along the lines of "I am currently questing for (item name). Any help would be greatly appreciated!" Don't use txt tlk. Seriously. People hate that.

-Put yourself out there! (but not too much)
Take a trip over to the Charity and Quests Forum and set up a topic called (username's) Quest. In it, write --IN ENGLISH; NO TXT TLK!!-- what you are questing for. Little pictures of each item don't hurt either. DO NOT write something like "plz plz plz omg i rlly need (item) plz help me and don8 gold plz i need gold plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz". NOBODY will donate to you if you do. Mention subtly and politely that donations are very much appreciated, and that getting these items would mean a lot to you.

- Be gracious to donors-- who knows; maybe they'll donate again in the future!
People who donate always get a warm, fuzzy feeling when their gifts are appreciated. At the very least, drop the person a thank you note in their Inbox, or if you're good at drawing, a drawn "thank you" art or avi art will make a great display of gratitude. And remember-- people will recall if you were appreciative! If they find that their efforts were worth it, they may come back again in the future to donate again!

A bit of a random invite to me, but honored none-the-less. But yeah guess there's no going back. I'm reading up on the Booty Grab stuff, since i don't know what the red, green and blue coins are for =.M.=
