This was a surprisingly great read!
Amazon Description:
When one of Jack Fletcher's nanoelectromechanical system experiments is jostled in his lab, the resulting explosion sends him into the world of his favorite novel-a seemingly Victorian-era world of steampower, aether guns, corsets, and goggles. A world where the lovely and intrepid Octavia Pye captains her airship straight into his heart...
In my humble opinion, this book is not quiet as good as Clockwork Heart by Dru Pagliassotti, which you can also find on Amazon.
my opinion of Steamed?
It's very fluffy, and a tad scattered, but if you're looking for a generous helping of wit with your cup of romance, this is certainly a novel worth taking to tea time.

was a neat twist on the parallel universe idea. i bought this book unknowing what romance novels contained -.- it was a bit too scattered for me, i think the guy should have been shot a few times with his remarks. For a 'modern' science geek, he was a bit too much of a playboy
good read tho

xD My thoughts exactly! When he told Octavia that they weren't going to have a serious relationship, I totally wanted to whack him over the head with a Disruptor. D: And he wasn't so much a nerd as a guy with knowlege of science with a rabid libido.
...not to say Tavi wasn't a bit lascivious. sweatdrop
