Question: I’ll send you some birthday cake if you give me some Supernatural scoop about the 100th episode. —Annie
Ausiello: In the milestone episode, airing April 15, ”a very important character will sacrifice themselves in a suicide mission,” reveals exec producer Sera Gamble. “We definitely kept in mind that this was [an important] episode. We wanted to deliver something with real scope; it’s about the Archangel Michael. Crises will come to a head for Dean and Castiel. And you’ll see characters you never thought you’d see again.

Well, s**t.

Okay, hands up who's already preparing their eulogy for Bobby?
There are four major characters in this series that could be considered very important, Dean, Sam, Cas and Bobby.
We know the brothers are going to be around til the end and Misha's contract is - thus far - to the end of season five.
So really, Bobby is the only one who's really expendable.
Therefore, I'm pretty certain he's about to bite the dust.
But the way it's been put there, it seems like he'll be dying in a very noble way and I think I can deal with that.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I will be a ********' wreck much in the same way I was when I lost my beloved Ellen, Jo and my precious Johnnycakes.
But at least it looks like he'll be going out fighting the good fight.
Oh God, I'm now welling up with Angel flashbacks.

Although the way Sera's worded it, she hasn't actually said there's going to be a death which makes me wonder, with the comments about Michael, if the sacrifice is actually just going to be Dean giving up his life and saying yes.

Continuing my thoughts about Dean and Cas' crises coming to a head, I am so freakin' psyched over that, I can't even express it.
I'm really hoping that they're actually going to give Cas a meaty portion of episode this time.
Both Misha and Jensen are incredible when it comes to playing the heavy stuff, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that turns out.

And finally, characters we never thought we'd see again?
I know a few characters due back over the coming episodes are definitely ones I hadn't expected to see again [Adam, Pamela and Big!Mary] and considering who they are, I can't help but wonder if Dean's going to be visited by Michael in different visages.

And, random aside, anyone else missing Zachariah?
That smarmy b*****d, I miss him.

i really hope its not Bobby who goes, i mean i don't want any of them to go if they do but, nooo! Poor Bobby i shall be in mourning for weeks, they'll be so lost without him, if it is him we should hold a special in memory of Bobby thing

I agree with the first thing you said..

well, s**t.

You know, of course they would kill off Bobby..it only makes sense at the moment. But..OMG OMG OMG.

WHAT IF JOHN IS ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO COMES BACK WE NEVER THOUGHT WE WOULD SEE AGAIN? BECAUSE I SURE AS HELL THOUGHT I'D NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN.

omg omg. The possibility alone is making me squee out loud.

And I think that
Adam would possibly be in the zombie episode, maybe? UNLESS, Michael decides to ressurect him and have him as his vessel to make Dean say yes or keep him until Dean says yes , possible right?

s**t, I have no idea what's coming. Those were just stupid things I think will happen lol But of course, I really do think Bobby is the one who's gonna bite it. But then again, Vee, you make a good point that she said sacrifice, and so it could be Dean (OR SAM) doing that. But it also says "suicide mission" which pretty much means, ya gonna die.

This hiatus is srsly starting to get to me. I wanna watch this episode just as much as I wanna watch the zombie one.....ahhhh!!!

And, no, I don't miss Zachariah. I do miss Michael though razz

Didn't like Zacharia, though I'm in love with his name.

I recall Jim Beaver tweeting about returning in an episode soon, so that even gives me more reason to believe it's Bobby.

(...)

Bela.
I want Bela back.
She won't come back, and I'm 100% she won't.

OMG.
John best get his a** back on Earth.

I think that it will be either Sam or Dean.

Sam knows that Dean would never say Yes, but if he goes over to the dark side-- sort of sacrificing himself (Jude anyone?)-- then Dean will say Yes and ba da bing ba da boom! and the Apocalypse can come too.

Besides, if Bobby still can't use his legs, how the hell would he go on a suicide mission?

Psh, Bobby would just roll on in there. biggrin

I mean, he can still drive, he drove a van in the episode with the manwitch. I bet he can drive again, somewhere. He can probably take somebody (or something) out that way.

Just a guess.

And you forget that suicide mission doesn't have to be a major running, jumping, climbing trees thing. What Jo and Ellen did in 5x10 was technically a suicide mission.

unless Ash makes an apearence, cause Kripke said it was a possibility and it
wasn't 100% that it was Ash who died, i personally would love to see Ash come back but i don't wanna see him die, but i think it'll either be him or Bobby, as we know Sam and Dean are contracted to season 6 and i don't think he'd kill Castiel off that soon, perhaps one before last or something.

...CRAP.
This season is EVIL.
We hear two people are dying in one episode,
we hold our breath, hoping it's not someone we love-
AND IT KINDA IS. (Oh Ellen, I miss you...)
and NOW THIS?! SO MEAN. My money is on Bobby though.
We should write a huge-a** eulogy just for him
and send it to Jim in mourning. Because BOBBY IS AWESOME, DAMNIT!
"BooHoo I'm so sorry your feelings are hurt, princess!" <3

Admittedly though,
I would consider Dean saying yes as a suicide mission... sort of.
We already know that Michael apparently doesn't ride his
vessel so hard... Which is a major alert to me,
because all of a sudden it's possible for Dean to survive,
and if that's not a huge flashing neon sign, then I don't know what is.
