In the shadows of the world, a war is being held. A war between two small groups of souls, that live in bodies with unimaginable power. The Seven Deadly Sins were named by God, the creator of the Earth and all living things, this is common knowledge. What is not, is that Lucifer took those sins, and forged souls that could possess willing hosts, hosts that want power and to crush the forces of the light.

To counter Lucifer's plot, God created Seven Divine Virtues. These Virtues fight to protect the world and it's people, and to destroy the shroud of darkness that hopes to envelope them. This war is held once every five hundred years, both sides have won many times. But which side will win this time?

Skeletons
All people can have two powers of fair strength, for example, Speed and Strength, and one weaker ability, not used in combat, for example, being able to calm someone down.

A Sin: The sins goal is to destroy the Morale of the human world, and create a world of Chaos that Lucifer might Rule over. A sin a possessed human. therefore they will not be in the form of demons, they will be in the form of humans, always.

A Virtue: A Virtues' goal is to destroy the sins, and keep the world on the path of the lord god. A virtue is a blessed human, therefore they will not be in the form of angels, they will always be humans.

Biography: What more is there to say. He is the instigator of the great rebellion. Leader of the fallen who defied the lord for his preference over them, the perfect to the humans. Lucifer and his legion of two thousand fallen were cast from the paradise and chained in the underworld. From this two thousand he gave power to Seven lieutenants to rule the circles of hell as they saw fit and Lilth the eight while he dominates the Ninth.

Biography: Lilith was the first wife of Adam, but abandoned him because he thought he was better than her because she was female. Because she didn't agree to God's wishes to go back, she was banished from the light. Later she met Lucifer and they got together. He made her the queen of Hell, reigning equally with him. She is known for her rule over the female demons of hell. Because of this, she is also often referred to as the queen of the Succubi, despite not actually being one herself. She's very playful and way more laid back than her husband. If anything appears fun to her, she will take advantage of it. On the negative side, she is easily angered; Lilith is often known for being "bipolar."
Powers [limit to three max]: Mostly spoken spells, along with the ability to fly freely. She doesn't prefer using weapons, but if she must, she will. Also, she's very good at being a seductress.

Character Name: Siona "Envy" Torzewski
Gender: Female
Age: N/A
Biography: All She ever wanted was to be the best at ONE thing. Siona always had crappy this, or mediocre that. She never knew her parents, and was raised in Foster care. And every time she would watch another child get adopted, or find a new home, she would be bitter with envy. When she was a teenager, she was always outdone. One day, she snapped. A cheerleader had been complaining about being fat, and Siona had overheard. Later that night, as the cheerleader was walking home, Siona hit her over the head with a stick, knocking her unconscious. The next day, the cheerleader was found in the school courtyard, brutally cut open, stuffed with cotton, and sewn shut. Siona had claimed that the girl didn't know how good she had it, and she had to be taught a lesson. Then Siona turned up missing. Without a trace, she'd vanished. Two years later, at the age of 19, Siona came back into the world, though still under the radar. She'd made a pact with Lucifer, and she'd never be the same.

Character Name: Vassili "Wrath" Zaitsev

Age: 27
Bio: Vassili Zaitsev was a soldier in the Red Army. He was, yes a communist, and a fine soldier. He made sergeant with in weeks of his induction and was tasked to carry a flame thrower. He became enthralled in the power that it contained. For three years he fought in the Afghanistan war and clearing a bunker a stray bullet hit his fuel tank. He was enraged at this point. Hs body was instantly consumed in flame and he nearly died.

Ten days later he woke up in a burn word of a hospital deep in Mother Russia. Eighty percent of his body covered in burns. He was told he would never walk again and would never fight. His mind bent of destruction he began screaming that he would. His wrath knew no bounds. They killed him. As he descended into Limbo he was greeted by Wrath. With a pledge to the Lightbringer Wrath took Vassili's body and burned the poison from his body. He woke up, seething flames. Vassili left Russia and burned his way across the Middle East and Europe. He then calmed briefly to disguise and hide himself to America, where a new war would begin. At least that is what Lucifer promised.

Character Name: Caleb "Pride" Mitarashi
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Bio: Caleb was a samurai during the Meiji era of Japan. He was an adept swordsman for one so young and had much pride in his sword. During a mission, he found himself face-to-face with a swordsman under a revolutionary general. Sure that he could win, Caleb fought the man and nearly lost his life. However, he made a dark pact with the devil, agreeing to be a host if he could remain powerful. He was possessed by Pride and used his powers of absolute obedience to have the other man kill himself. He has lived his life over the centuries, traveling, never getting to know anyone too long so that they couldn't figure out he wasn't aging.
Powers: Super Speed, Strength, Absolute obedience ((By looking someone in the eye, he is able to give a command that cannot be refused, except by those of higher power than him. The order has no time limit to it and will be carried out infinitely if a time limit is not given and order is not completed))

Character Name: Kat "Lust" Adams
Gender: Female
Age: Twenty-one
Bio: Lets have a small back history on Lust herself.
It is not unknown that Lust "recycles" through bodies. If one becomes damaged or inusable, she throws it out for the next. Her last bodily change was in the early 1920's. Kat, or kitten as she is often called had been a flapper, one to go against societies standards to get attention. Of course, this was Kats mistake. She fell pray to worshipping the devil, and, eventually she tried to summon something from the relm beyond. Lust, who had been waiting was quick to reply to the summons, of course it had been a demon summoning more so then a sin summoning, but when the gate was open, she pushed her way through. She had talked circles around the girl, convincing her to give up her body for lucifer himself. The girl did, giving Lust her newest body.

Biography: Micheal is the Field commander of the forces of Heaven, direct commander to the Virtues and perfect warrior. He is unyielding, unbending, and unforgiving to those who defy the Lord.
Powers: Micheal has no powers beyond Rejuvenation and unparalleled battle experience with every weapon that has, is and will be.

Character Name: Ysane "Strength" Ixil
Bio: For as long as she could remember, Ysane had always been the divine virtue of Strength. It wasn't until recently (so to speak) that she had even needed a physical form. Michael had needed assistance to keep the unruly Sins and humans in line, and thus she had been created.
Power(s): In essence, the perfect warrior: spiritually, physically, emotionally

Character Name: Salvador "Justice" Lizadle
Bio: Salvador was once a gang banger, hardcore Nortenios. When he nearly died though, he renounced his ties to the gang and renewed his ties to god. For years he actually fought against his former comrades. When he was again nearly killed he had a vision, a perfect being entered his mind and told him that his sense of Justice was parallel to none, help was with you. Salvador's wounds healed and he found he had other powers.
Powers: Control over Light, whether it be able to snuff it out, making blinding, or use it as a weapon. Salvador can also use in to travel, but this has a very painful side affect proportional to the distance.

Lilith "closed" her final communique and sat back, rubbing her eyes. Sometimes the girls could just talk. That damned Envy just wouldn't shut her ******** mouth! She went to go find Lucifer; he had been finished nigh on an hour ago. Lilith smiled teasingly at her roughly demonic husband and curled up on his lap, sliding her arms around his neck.

"Hey you. I missed you."

She kissed him then, mindful of his extended canines. Lucifer could look like a human when he wished, but in their home, he rarely bothered. Lilith rested her head in the crook between his neck and his shoulders and gently stroked his cheek.

"The sins will all be here before dinner time, and our legions are all prepared. I don't think Heaven knows what will hit them."

She giggled and it sounded like a crystal class shattering on gravel; just as suddenly as it came, she ceased her laughter. Lilith pouted, knowing how it would affect her husband.

"I know why I have to be sent away, too, but do I really have to go, husband? I don't see how the humans can help us overly much; they haven't in the past..."

Siona "Envy" Torzewski snapped her gum in her unique boredom. She stared at the trees in front of her. Siona had gotten her "call" this morning to return to Hell in English Literature 101, from Lilith; she only talked to the female "sins" and Lucifer only talked to the male "sins." Relatively speaking, of course. When they were all together again in Hell, then Lucifer would take the reins on the whole meeting. She snapped her gum again. All Siona was waiting for now was the portal to open. Lilith said the thirteen three from the path, to the right. So where is it? Siona wondered why the sins were being recalled; Lilith wouldn't answer any of her questions.

Siona sighed again. This is getting ******** ridiculous. Lilith calls, I answer, but she neglects to open the ******** door? What kind of bullshit is that? She bit at the corner of her thumb nail idly, wishing she had a manicure. Like that would stop the biting... It was just another one of the odd quirks that Envy had inherited from Siona's body; unlike the other sins, Envy took on the major qualities and aspects of her mortal forms. Outwardly, Envy complained about it heavily; inwardly, she wished she could keep those little quirks. Alas, they dissipated as soon as the form was gone. The current one wasn't that old; just from the sixties. Envy had like her hair enough to forsake her previous form right then and there; when a sin was inhabiting a form, the form might have well have been removed from the Time and Space stream. It ceased to differ the slightest from the moment the sin entered it.

Before Siona, the tree was staring at seemed to burst into flames. A quick glance around confirmed that no one else had, or could, see it. As she moved towards it, another (lesser) demon stepped out of the portal; it dipped into a bow so low, it's goat horns brushed the dirt.

"About ******** time..."

"Lucifer awaits you, Envy."

Siona snorted. No doubt he is...She brushed past the demon impersonally, and into the portal. Immediately the sin was engulfed in flames hotter then the sun...although to her, it felt little warmer then a candle held against her skin. The flames parted, reveling Lucifer's antechamber.

Envy turned, hearing footsteps behind her. She spoke, and Siona's body followed sluggishly to her commands; that always happened whenever she left the Prime Material Plane, and re-entered Hell.

"Pride. Good to see you again. You haven't seen Lucifer yet have you?"

Siona smiled. She played with a lock of her hair, slowly winding around her index finger, over and over again.
