You don't need a boyfriend or a girlfriend to make you happy on v-day because you have friends and family.

I learned that on Friday at our school dance.

I was crying for 2 reasons. 1. I didn't have a boyfriend and all my friends did. 2. I heard from my friend Brittney that someone started a bad rumor about me... I was almost crying for the whole dance but no matter were I was crying there were my friends with me. And one of my friends Patrick found out I liked him and to help me with problem 1. he asked me out. So for those last 20 minutes of the dance I tried to ignore the rumor and have fun with my buds.
