I was just wandering what I should do in The Eye of the Storm pvp battleground. It took me a little while to get the hang ofn AV but I pretty much know what to do in AV now I love pvping in AV now that I understand what to do. But I don't know why but I am not very good at the Eye Of The Storm. Is there anything that I should be doing as far as strategy. Does anyone have any tips for me by chance on how I can play that pvp battleground? rolleyes

You claim a tower or three with your team and then it's just grab the thingy in the middle and run it back to a claimed tower.
That's the basics.
For real strategies.. not a clue. I've only winged a really good EotS once. I was on my druid. A few of my team had claimed the middle and just stayed there, everyone else was scattered and keeping the other side occupied. Meanwhile, in cheetah form, I was running back and forth helter skelter from the middle to a tower to the middle to a tower rinse repeat.
It was a team that just worked.

abandon all towers and fart around the flag
that tends to be the general consensus.
my personal thing to do is cap the mage tower first(im alli so if you're horde just do a flipped version) and then cross the bridge to the fel reaver to try and slow down the horde's progression.
few people do this, though.
only go to the center if you have more AoE's than god and want to try and honor grind... or you're a filthy warlock or priest and want to spam fear.

YA I am a warlock that spams fear quite a lot lol. Ok cool as far as what the first comment on here I had a feeling after even the 1rst time that I tried this pvp battleground is that it really depends on the team effort wether we win or not. I remember that when I did try this one there were only like maybe 5 people playing so I think that there were just not enough players in order to play a good game. And as far as the strategy goes I had no idea that there was some sort of object that was in the middle that you needed to capture lol. Oh well it is a new pvp battleground for me anyways hopefully with a bit of practice I will get use to it just like I did when I first tried all the other ones. Ok well thanks for the tips guys! smile heart

Why would you ever do eye of the storm? Unless its EotS weekend, in which case you still don't do it. It takes forever to find games, they last a long time, and then you lose like 2000/5 and get no honor. It's awful. You can actually do like 5 matches of wsg, in the time it takes to find and complete an EotS. And EotS will make you feel like /afking is the only alternative to diving out of your window, due to the mental pain EotS causes. Seriously, EotS makes sunny days go away, don't play it man.

I had fun in EotS. Destroyed the allies and it was a fast run and que. The flag part did confuse me abit though.

Ok cool lol well I guess everyone is different and has different likes and dislikes. For example I use to love doing WSG and Arathi Basin but now I find it impossible to win in WSG so I just never play it anymore. Seems like the Alliance always win that one now. Lol so I just play AV all the time. Hmmm...

i need to find these fabled battlegroups where the alliance rock fierce. cause Retaliation has insanely awesome horde pvpers. the only one where you have half a chance is AV

Lol ok well that is awsome. I guess it might be because I don't have any lvl 80 alts yet. But I am just starting to rock against the Allies. But I had an awful time when I was a bit lower lvl the lvl 80s Alliance would always kill us in pvp mode just in front of an instance that would happen quite a bit. But then I would wisper to some guildies about what was happening and they would send a whole bunch of our lvl 80s to come and take revenge against them hehe. cool
