When I went to the Collectormania convention in November, Misha decided to answer a load of questions with "Young Mary", nothing else, just "Young Mary."
And it got silly and dirty, so now I always think of his cheeky little face when I see her.

Weird-a** story time, guys.

When I was a HS freshman, I had the very good fortune to score a shotgun seat with my mom on a business trip to Tokyo for three days, since neither her boyfriend nor her manager could make it. Unfortunately, for a good portion of that time, I was confined to our hotel room to do my homework or watch television. I ended up doing a little of both--and of course, all the shows were dubbed in Japanese, including this American movie I identified by the fact that it had Glenn Close in it. I watched it for a little bit, but quickly realized that this would not be for me. You see, I have this intense empathy for animals, and don't like seeing them get hurt. They happened to play that scene you just referenced, DC. So I switched it over to the kiddie anime I couldn't understand. ^_^U

So yeah, in a roundabout way, I kinda got that reference.

On a more reflective note, how was that episode you guys?!

It wasn't the best one ever, but it certainly was a step up from Swap Meat and progressed the story nicely. What with Castiel freely claiming allegiance to Sam, Michael making his first appearance, playing herald to the news of the Winchester heritage, and angel dickery at an all-time high.

Although, I've been wondering if anyone would be willing to have a nice discussion with me over that last one? I mean, I know we all like to follow Dean-o around on those verbal coattails, but take a step back for a second and think about it for a second--are they really the douche bags they appear to be?

Uriel doesn't count. He's a douche, straight up.

But Anna was just doing what she thought was right; what would be better for the bigger picture. And remember; she had a full appreciation for the human race and all of its merits. She may not have felt for the Winchesters as much as we would have liked when she went after Mommy and Daddy, but angels don't 'feel' the way that we do. Their existences are so far removed from our own, we'd be hard pressed to understand what could truly move them, as Gabriel was moved to flee his brothers' conflict, or as Castiel was moved to rebel against his faction for the sake of our boys.

I'd love to talk more about anyone who finds this deeper philosophical hubub at all stimulating. But for those who are still in irreversible fangirl mode, allow me to add...

YEEEEEE! SUPERNATURAL FIX ACHIEVED! YAY! biggrin

I guess it was because Lucifer hadn't been released yet so Michael didn't really need him.
Like he said, he didn't want the apocalypse to happen, but it did, so maybe he was hoping for the best.
