Can you still sew by hand or is it crucial to have a sewing machine? I don't have one. That's what I think. It might be buried somewhere beneath the piles of 'junk', which is, in reality, my stuff.

it is possible to make it by hand, but it is like 20 times faster with a sewing machine. I can make about 5 in an hour. biggrin

well i might jsut try to do it in crochet or knitting, il just make it into thte pices and sew them together... evtanylly...too lazylol

woot today i boguht some fabric to make enough for 2 or even 3 hats XD i might double line them or shoudl i just do one side? they are alpine fleece for the black one and from crafting felt for the white stuff. XD

well after making about 5 or so, just wanted to point out, when most of my friends tried most of them on, the squiggly tail wasn't flat enough maybe somehow having a pattern of extending the triangle like shape for the middle of the hat far onto about half of the beginning of the tail so it is a bit more 3d ish. and maybe decreasing the height since it was a bit too long for them.. just a few suggestions or thoughts.. but i think its really nice, since i cant really find anyone else making at least some sort of pattern.
