I HATE Near. That kid... I bet he used his guys to make ryuk kill Kira in the last episode. I wanna kill that jerk. He ruined the last episode for me. May he die a miserable death.

Well first off (and yeah, im being a hypocrite cuz I hate Light for this reason too..) I dont think its ok to hate someone for killing 'Precious L'

Misa. She's the most annoying character in Death Note. Near's my second least favorite. Strangely enough, there was nothing to him that appealed to me, even though he's pretty similar to L.

I don't hate Light that much. I kind of feel sorry for him, actually. He had good family, good grades, a good chance at a reliable career, and he ruined his own life by using the Death Note more than the first few tests. He started out with good intentions (make the world free of criminals), no matter how misguided (I don't condone his killing people), but became corrupt as should be expected since he had the power to kill.

I love L, but I don't really hate Light for killing him. It should have been obvious from the start of their mental battles that one of the two would lose to the other, and Light got lucky to have all the pieces he needed in the right place at the right time. I wasn't happy about Light winning against L, but the series had to move forward somehow.
