Okay, so we all have our pet peeves, and one of mine is when people say, "alot" instead of "a lot". IT'S TWO WORDS, GOD DAMN IT! Sorry. This really bugs me. I mean, other grammatical errors I can typically live with, but this particular one just drives me absolutely crazy. I cringe every time I see it. *twitch twitch*

I make that mistake all the time.
because my teacher told us that "a lot" meant a parking lot and that "alot" didn't exist, meaning that the phrase I'm accustomed to didn't exist. I've never quite overcome it.

There's some people right here on Gaia who do type like their space bar haven't worked in ages or they don't notice a long blank bar at the end of their keyboard. Plus it's in txt tlk which makes it all the more fail. Stay in the guild is all I can tell you. I don't want you to head desk so hard you fall into a coma. Still I wonder why people don't use the space bar or could ever type like that. It made my brain hurt a little.
