Okay, I was watching "The Polar Express" today and made some hillarious commentary on it that got me yelled at, but I think I made a point with one of my comments.
Why do kids love Santa so much? He gives us presents. Why do we love Jesus? Because he loves us.
When we are bad, Santa drops coal on us. What does Jesus do? He smiles and still accepts us. He knows that we are not perfect.
I seriously think that God is wearing a santa hat, not because he beleives in the santa-man, but because he IS the santa-man. God is around us all the time and gave us the greatest gift ever: eternal salvation. A "Get-out-off-Hell-Free" card. I would take those over an MP3 or Star Wars Battlefront2 or even a low-rider!
So I wanna know who invented the Santa legend so I can kick him! Not realy, but whoever he or she was made people lose focus on the real meaning of christmas

Criss Kringle (gee I hope that's spelt right) was actually a really good man who gave money to the poor. What Santa Claus has become though you can thank the Coke Cola corrporation for... well not all of it but they're the ones who came up if the fat man in a red suit image.

I see what you mean. I often wonder where Santa Clause came form to. I knew he was based on a real man, but where did they get all of the stuff about the north poll and reindeer that fly? confused It really has taken away the true meaning of Chritmas and it should change, but that's almost next to impossible. xp
