Is anyone els tired of these "I just got hacked please help me" Things?
I know I am. It may sound rude but just hear me out. I know what it is like to be hacked. I have been hacked before but you know what I came back from it with no help from anyone so I don't understand why tons of people go around bugging everyone about being hacked. I really hate it when they PM me about it. I also don't get it when people complane about it and ask for donations when they still have some really awsome items. It makes me wonder if they were really hacked or not. Lastly I don't understand why people don't tell gaia! Gaia is suposed to returns your items to you! You send them a message with what you have lost and they are suposed to return the items to you. It's under the help tab. I mean really I just don't understand it sometimes. -.- I don't mind helping people but alot of the times I wonder if the gaian was truly hacked or if they are just trying to make up a sob story so you give them gold and items.
I know I may sound rude and over all like an a** hole who hates donating to others and has no haert; but really that's not it. I donate to tons of people new and old.
So does anyone els share my opion on this subject or no?

Agreed. Half of these people, sad to say, lie about being hacked in order to get more donations anyway. Or so has been my experience. I do wish people would just stop it as well. If they got hacked... Well, yes indeed it's sad, but I don't agree with them going out and bothering people who don't even know them for donations. It gets old. Work for your own items, please. All of us have, what makes you different? That you 'graced' gaia with your presence? rolleyes
And as for people not filing hacking reports, I entirely agree again. I have told countless people about it, and half of which didn't even know because they didn't read anything on the site, and instead just joined. In that case, if a person didn't read anything on the site, I'd almost say they were asking to be hacked, as they didn't know the rules and the like.
Anyway you're not heartless, you have sense. e_e Quite frankly I think even the nicest and somewhat... naive... donators are sick of it.

Ugh! I know what you mean Gwen. There was this game i used to play with my dad and he got hack from everything he had on it.
Then there were all these people who were like yeah i got hacked to etc. Ones that didn't. >.>
So now i only donate to friends or if i think the person deserves it. ^-^

Yupp. They don't tell gaia because it isn't true.
It is made up. It is very annoying & as heartless as this
may sound, i usually laugh at their stupidity.

back in like December of I think 2006/7, I had an account hacked from me,
along with 3 mules.
I had like 40k worth of items on just one -.-
Gaia did NOTHING to help me.
I was lucky that my ex gave me this account.
