Okay now that the storm has blown over, Do you think the Colts deciding to bench there stars, ultimately costing them a win was a good or bad idea?

Well the Jets are a good team, but the Colts resting there starters for the playoffs(that I got but you gotta wonder something), they Altered the Playoff chance of the Jets. The Jets won against a shitty Colts team eek

You know, I do not blame any coach for being concern over the well-being of their QB. However, I feel like that both the team and the fans were robbed when they sat them down and just literally gave the game away to the Jets. I understand what the coach and the president both are trying to say - they want to go to the superbowl and win it and that is what really matters, but I feel when you are that close to acheiving such a perfect record then why not go for it? If they were really that concerned over Peyton's health then they would have been sat him down during the short week when they had to play Jacksonville on a thursday. Instead it was like they were teasing the idea of perfection and then you wait until the second to last game of the season?
I don't care if it is the last game of the season, the first, or even throughout the playoffs - there is always a chance when your key players may get hurt and you just have to chance it. Peyton gets paid to play not to sit out and the fans did not waste money on tickets to watch second-string players struggle against a mediocre Jets. They played Peytong half-way through the game, they should have left him in there. They can rest next week when the season is over.

You really need to stick to baseball. If our starters were in we would have killed the Jets! Everybody knows that! And I think it was a good and bad thing. I mean I understand why the coach did what he did. The Colts already have home field advantage for the play offs and I understand not wanting to risk injuring a player but they just threw away an undefeated season. If I was in the stands for that I would have wanted my ticket back. Everybody expected that to be an easy win if we had our starters in and since we didn't we screwed up. And by the way our back ups played at the Jets game I wouldn't want to risk our starters either!

Here's my take on the matter: Records were made to be broken, The colts had a very good chance of doing just that. The colts have played very good football this season giving up just like that? Ok so the coach was concerned about an injury, how many games have been played so far? I think they should have gone with the starters until they lost and then bench them.
