I'm thinking of opening a subforum for contests, and having a monthly contest. who's with me? who thinks it'll work without a subforum? what kind of contest? what are the awards? How long would each last? How do we choose a winner?

maybe somethign like submitting your best artwork but you have to pay like 100 gold. And then everyone votes and whoever gets the most votes wins the money.

So either art or gold are the choices, and i think the poolin of money and winner gets the pot idea is nice, but then it might turn some folks away. But hey, it's only 100 and it raises the stakes making it more interesting, right?
the topic game, that's basically how it'll be i guess. a supernova will announce one topic per month (and send an announcement for it so no one misses it), but members are free to suggest topics. In fact, that would be prefered. maybe one contest a month is too less, unless they are big contests. maybe comic contests are month long, and art contests are week long?
hows that? i guess we'll start in febuary. who likes the idea of pooling money? cuz i like it.
