I play the alto sax in Concert band and I'm 3rd chair. But the others are WAY better than I am. But in Jazz band I am second tenor sax.

for now I sit 2nd because on the chair test I didnt hold out the whole note long enough. :/

Out of twelve trumpets, I'm fourth chair. I'm the highest placed freshman, and to get that chair I had to beat two seniours! >=D I do play first trumpet part, and I had to work hard to get that chair.

In order from 1st to last:
Elizabeth L., Katrina L, Shirley L, Winnie L, Kevin C, Me, Yu Cen.
The two that sit next to me are beginners.
I don`t know how I ended up 2nd to last, because I've been playing longer confused .
Band Director says it's for "The purpose of teacher the 1st years".
But it's been 4 months now, surely they've already got the stuff down.
I'm going to put a request in to be tested and moved up a chair.

In marching band I was toward the end, but there were 4 people below me so I didn't feel as bad. :]
In concert band, I'm 4th chair...out of 6. >.> Atleast I'm ahead of two people!! xD

I couldn't play an Eb. True Story. But then I could one day, and I moved, then I was 1st chair of 6 lol.
