Since my last attempt at guild contest was well received, but a sad flop, I decided to try this again! This time, however, I am going to be giving away much better prizes and rewards for those who simply post regularly. So without further hype: On to the fun~

Contest One:
Christmas Themed tek-tek.
Starts: December 15
Ends: January 15th
Prizes: 1st: 10000 gold and an added surprise
2nd: 5000 gold and an added surprise
3rd: 2000 gold and an added surprise
~*~*ALL: Receive a random aquarium item! Anything from fish to decor. Wallpapers to stickers. JUST FOR TRYING.*~*~

I know, cliche. Though I always find these to be fun little additions to any thread, or guild. The rules are simple! Go to TekTek and create an avatar that relates to the Christmas theme. Does not have to be fish related, though that would be an obvious bonus.
Limit three entries per guild member

Contest Three:Design my 55! Starts: December 15th
Ends: February 15th
Prizes: 1st: I will assemble your tank fish and all (when my new lease starts up; of course) and you get 10000 Gaia gold.
2nd: 5000 gold and an aquarium item.
3rd: 2000 gold and an aquarium item.
I am the sole judge. It is my tank; after all
You heard it. Design my 55 gal tank set up. I will make a new thread for this contest, inside you may post up to three ideas. This not only includes the fish but also the substrate and plants (live, silk, plastic...none? Rocks? You tell me) Seems like a lot to leave up to others, huh? But I have total faith you all will pick out an amazing design for me.
Rules:
heart No finicky fish. Discus in particularly are not for me. I am iffy about Rams as well. Though if you can argue it, do it.
heart Community tank! Don't tell me to stick it full of goldfish. I like them and all but...no.
heart Any good stores to buy things from? Good deals on decor? Mention it.

Contest Four:Invite Contest Starts: December 15th

The person that invites the most new active members in 3 months will get ten thousand gold! For each invite you get;however, you receive an aquarium item.
What defines an active member?
They post more then one time.
They are not obviously a mule.
They try to actively recruit as well!
Makes sure that your invitees credit you for their invite. Or make sure that you mention it in this thread they are here for you.

For contest 3 how do you feel about monster fish such as arowana, catfish, gars, ext.?
And what are the dimensions of the tank? Just wanna know if it is tall or short, rectangle or square and such biggrin

I want to get a 55 Gallon standard. About 4x2x2, I believe. I have gotten the tank; just making plans for the future once my lease has expired.

WOW...thats roughly 120 gallons not 55.
So are you looking for 60 gallon or 4x2x2?
And you didn't answer about monster fish XD
sorry i'm such a nag just want to design best tank with what u have.
