I'm probably not the only one but I have a couple of habits that I do when I play any Pokemon game. The biggest one is nicknaming all my Pokemon usually with real names of people I know who kind of look or act like Pokemon. Or sometimes I nickname them based on a move set or type. For example, I started with a Water type in Diamond (I usually go with fire) so I nicknamed Piplup Water Feet but that was lame after it evolved so I renamed her Water Queen. Since I knew along the way I would get surf and hopefully Hydro Pump. xd My oldest and highest level Pikachu is Carl as usual cause my cousin Carl does look like a Pikachu. Especially if he has too much hair gel 3nodding So if you ever get to trade with me my Pokemon will have some crazy nickname okay.
Other habits I have is walking I don't usually ride my bike since I like to collect every little thing. Which is why I'm so happy about all the new features in Diamond. I also have a gambling issues...... sweatdrop
Oh I like trading my main team and after they reach level 70's and other favorites into a Friend's system and then trade them back when I restart the game. I probably won't do this since 1 I don't have friends to trade with sweatdrop (Probably will get a Ds Lite and get Platinum or wait for HG/SS)
I dunno it's just funny restarting the game with super high level Pokemon that won't obey you until you are almost done beating the game again. It makes me feel like Ash. xd

lol, nice.
I tend to breed alot of pokemon, so I have alot of the same pokemon sitting around. Since I do, I give the ones I'll be using nicknames, to differentiate them all from each other. I think I have a full box of Eevees all having different little nicknames. xD
As far as habitual tendencies, I go into gym leader battles without using any items, just to see how I can do without healing my team. Same with the E4.

i have nickname habbits as well, i catch only certain genders of each type of Pokemon to match the greek mythology and i name them after the greek gods/goddesses

i only nicname the ones iused often, like Scizor and Blaziken
my nicnames are also original but ahve somthing to do with te pokemon and it's useage
my most notable is Bowen, my shiny gallade, i treated him like a son when raising him (yeah yeah i know) and thus gave him anci-name i liked as a boy-name
as far as my shiny blaziken goes, GarneFlare, as his feathers become garnent-gem level crimson and he's a fire-type
my scizor i named crush because he has been seen crushing pokeballs
and lastly, my togekiss i named Wyndus or Wynn, based on wind-like structure as i use it to fly, Wyndus is a male name and Wynn is female

keishi_rin my habits are making poffins (never messed up 1096 times streak) and naming my pokemon with japanese names 3nodding the naming idea is really kinda cool but i would run out fast i dont know the pratical names for any of my foreign tongues

simple names like Enzeru or dendou or something like that Colonel....and check Freedict.com...they have a whole bunch of languages, while still using our writing system blaugh

Yeah I also have a bad habit of not releasing Pokemon which is why I usually end up either borrowing a Friend System and dumping them all in their boxes. sweatdrop
I probably will get Platinum and another DS Lite system just for myself.

I only played the yellow pikachu edition for gameboy advance. haha. But I always named my pokemon after either people I know, or characters from books or movies. Each time I restart the game I pick a different theme for the names though. And I always named Gary something really mean. xD
I always loved Pidgey and its evolved forms, it always got up to a really high level. And it can fly you places I mean come on! And I had a really bad habit of spending time in the casino thing.
And I only use my bicycle when I know there are no items on the ground like if I've already been through the area or remember from the last times I played.

laurenwithoutsound And I only use my bicycle when I know there are no items on the ground like if I've already been through the area or remember from the last times I played. i will from hereon out follow this example! of course places like cycling road and bike boards that i must use it are exceptions(as is the climbable sands near orebough) but only the unavoidable stuff! anotherthing i do name-wise is i fue names: GanreFlare Garnet + Flare based on my shiny blaziken being garnet crimson and being a fire type then using aspects of my lfie i can name others: Here on gaia there is apet-item called twistr the fire phoenix, well my love for Transformers bolstered when i made up a OC for it called...twister, so i finally bought twister the firephoenix and saw afire--made ho-oh, new nicname anyone? it's even more apt as sacred fire is seens spiraling upwards like...a twister...

ALWAYS.you know you cant do that anymore there are 1 to many pokemon 2 if you want eevvee in there well that when you apply the term "sub-in" say your team was Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Espeon, Leafeon, Glaceon ---using Umbreon as asub-in for Leafeon is best as they are both naturla defenders and too have eevee just shows yo ucan breed them imo, but eevee can learn adaptability so it might be worth it
