So I was flipping through the members list and notice there are a handful of non skins that are members. I thought it was decided that non skins weren't allowed in. I mean you can't just put a rule in place then not inforce it. I don't know. I just felt I'd share that.

Oyyy, is it that big a deal? It's a real pain that we can't reverse a decision to remove the skins. It just makes the guild too exclusive, because eventually membership will dwindle to none one way or another.

The point to keeping the skins on is for support. If we didn't have to keep the skins on to stay a member i know lots of people on here would have already taken the skin off. Me being included.
@Yuna: I went through all ten pages and I think i got everyone. There will be some people at the end of the list who do not have the skin equipped. It just takes gaia a bit of time to remove those users who have been banned from the list. biggrin

Yeah, at first I would have taken off the skin too. Now I'm dead set on keeping it.

Really? Support for what? If we don't support each other, Pulch, the white man will come and take our buffalo. You should know this already.

Hehe, nice metaphor. :] Sort of true as well. We need to support each other by keeping our skins, thus encouraging the others to do the same. If anyone could join this guild regardless of their avatars, then this could just be another BOO guild, not a support group and sanctuary as advertised.

i wanted to say that i'm really glad that i've been active in this guild. it really has been a support for me. i would have totally changed my avatar by now b/c this is the only place that i see people with this skin.
anyway- the reason i brought this up was b/c that's the point of this guild. if you have people who no longer have the skin in it, it makes it harder for those that kept it. besides, i hear that there are lots of general boo supporter guilds.

Same here. I wake up in the morning and crawl over to my computer, and I want to change my avatar. Then I think:
"BUT THEN I'LL BE EXILED! gonk "
So I keep it. I've been making money on my mule, so that I can eventually get nice items (although probably no EI's that I haven't given myself from this account. That is my only regret) and be happy making avatars with that.
I just like the piecing together of avatars; I don't really care about actually wearing them, and that makes this easier.

I feel like a tard when I post in the CB with this avi.. Maybe after new year I wont feel so silly, but right now it's kinda like, "oh, she's wearing things from the LAST event"
but later it'll be "OH she's wearing skin from halloween 09!!!"
