my stupidest moment to be honest: was trying to find viridian cty in yellow

this is funny so go ahead and smile:

I was what 10-ish? i just know i was in the fourth grade

yellow came with different colors for different areas, however, to my untrained mind, route 1 and 2 and viridian were so closely colored that icouldnt discern them and the gym was in an area i didnt bother to explore

so in my mind it registered as 'why do i keep missing viridian?',


it wanst until Gold Version that i realized my error, yeah, even with fly in yellow

talk about dumb


and as for the above poster's mal-hap trade, thats why i always say: "never trade on buses"

wow! Yeah that kind does beat mines. Which version was it on? eek I think that would cause me massive gamer-rage right there.

My Lamest moment ever. And a lesson to be learned:

So When I had gotten the chance to get Pokemon Pearl, I had gotten the game used becuase I reeeeally wanted to battle my bro and get the gosh dang game already. So I bought it used for 5$ less then the Original Price.
So After like my 4th Gym Badge I noticed something odd in my PC storage....
For some reason unknown to my small brain, whenever I put pokemon inside ((any pokemon- caught, traded, hatched etc.)) it just chooses a random pokemon and copies it, item, Level, Type-- Everything. This happens randomly, and sometimes with the same pokemon, so I thought this was a little bit of win for me, so I thought when I would get a Lvl 100 Pokemon, it would eventually/Hopefully make a copy of it! xD

But ooooh, gosh, was I wrong.

Since a Houndoom is my favorite Pokemon, I decided to level that one first to lvl. 100. Then moment finally came when I had gotten it.
A couple days after its epic 100 lvl, and putting it in the Storage system-- Poof.

Gone.

My ONE, and ONLY lvl 100 and FAVORITE Pokemon, Gone like that. I was sooooo bumped. I wanted to cry...! gonk

I have nooo idea what's wrong with my game, it still does it... xD
I'm too afraid to get another one of my other pokemon to lvl 100. That was the only time when it had disappeared... xD

Lesson: NEVER BUY USED GAMES. xD;

they probably didnt have time to fully throguhly check the game's internal systems Gamestop, however is very good about useds, they make sure nowadays that each and every used game functions, saves, and can be replayed before even putting it on the shelf,

they were bad about it some time ago, and local gamestops may still here-and-there it, but for the ability to buy, trade, and sell games, gamestop is the way to go, however their price of 35 versus wlamarts 25 KH2, yeah Walmarts' was enw their was used, so some games, maybe not a agoodidea, some toher though, yo ucant find anywhere else

also mind: they also do pre-orders, so to have it specially shipped they need the extra buck or two
