I'm looking at buying a curling iron (1.25") tomorrow. I already own a straightener, but I think it'd be nice to have curls for formal events and stuff.
Since my hair's in layers, I'm looking at pinning the upper layer back after curling it, partly because I'm lazy and partly because my hair's thick enough that I'm pretty sure that curls will look silly if all my hair is down.
Or something. Hopefully pictures will be up tomorrow for clarification if I get the iron. > <;;

that straightener looks too clunky. one that would work for curling would be like a chi. but i'd just buy a curler. since that's what it's for.

If you have stick straight hair your going to have some issues, since I've noticed from people I know that straight hair does not like staying curly. Kind of like how my hair doesn't like staying straight for more than 5 mins if I straighten it.
