Why do you dislike 11 so much?
Because it makes Sirius look like an arsehole to go after the girl that his best mate fancies, and it shows poor judgment on Lily’s part. Not that Sirius is a bad boyfriend, but he’s a bad match for her, and she’d be a fool to think otherwise.
Who is someone you know that ships 15?
Um…almost everyone. It IS canon after all. I just can’t safely say that I ship it since I’ve never read a fic about it. I’d LIKE to read one if I can ever manage to find one that isn’t angsty.
What would be your ideal scenario for 3?
I like when Al and Scorpius are in the same House, preferably Ravenclaw or Slytherin, and they become best friends in first year. I’m a huge fan of people being friends before they’re lovers; I think it makes a more solid relationship.
Which is your favourite moment for 1?
Gah, there are so many!!! heart In canon, it would have to be when the pups are talking to Harry in the Floo about James and they keep finishing each other’s sentences! biggrin I also really like the part when Molly and Sirius are arguing, and Remus says, “Sirius, sit down,” and Sirius sits like a good, whipped dog. rofl
How long have you been following 6?
Since DH came out. I didn’t ship Sev/Lily until it was known as canon.
What’s with 8? What made you stop liking them/caring?
I still like the idea of them as a couple, but the plots of the fics got boring and repetitive, so I stopped reading them…for the most part. wink

OMG 12!!! GET RID OF 12! Many people would be sad if 10 were gone; it’s the most popular HP slash ship, though I don’t like it at all. But 12…JKR only said that “Lupin was very fond of Lily.” To make their friendship into something that it wasn’t offends me greatly. Remus wouldn’t betray James like that, and if Lily wanted to date someone reserved and scholarly she’d date Severus. I’d love to see Remus/Lily gone from the world of HP fandom. Fortunately, it isn’t too popular anyway.
Which ship do you prefer: 2 or 4?
Definitely James/Lily! I love James’ loony attempts to woo her, and Lily’s insults when she rejects him, and their banter can be hot once they finally get together. lol
What interests you about 16?
Bella and Voldy? *shrugs* I guess just how evil they are, and how two people so selfish and cruel could find it in themselves to love someone.
Why did you stop liking 7?
I only liked the idea of them together when I was quite young after I’d read the first couple books. When I realised how much older than McG Dumbles was, I stopped liking it. Then, Dumbledore turned out to be gay rofl so it wasn’t canon anyway!
Did your waning interest in 9 kill your interest in the original book?
No. I actually still prefer Luna over Ginny as a match for Harry. I just stopped reading fics about it because there are so few of them.
What’s a song that reminds you of 5?
Merlin, I don’t know! What kind of song suits an all male threesome? LOL It would have to be something that showed more friendship than romance since when James/Sirius/Remus are all together it's a friends-with-benefits sort of thing. ”We Are One” from Lion King 2 might work.
If you could have any two of these pairings on a double date, who would it be?
Sirius/Remus and James/Lily, of course! whee

No. Remus will always love Sirius and Severus will always love Lily. They’re just together because they’re lonely, and they challenge each other’s intellects.

Haha, that’s the question that lots of people are asking! wink I’m going to have to say 2 because we wouldn’t have any HP books if Lily was with Sev instead of James.

Ew, either one would ruin my day. burning_eyes However, I do like the children that come out of both of the ships. Hmm…Remus/Tonks is probably worse since they both strike me as homosexual. (If you don’t agree, then that’s fine.) and at least Ron and Hermione are both straight.
What’s keeping you from shipping 17?
I only have half of the couple! lol I see Lucius as the most promiscuous character in the series; someone that would use sex as one of the many ways that he controls others, so I can imagine him having physical, if not emotional, relations with almost any character. I refuse to read anything where he’s with a child (someone the same age as his son), but anyone else – Dark side or Light side, male or female – would probably be fine. xd

Harry and Draco realise they’re both straight and there’s no sexual tension between their rivalry at all. rolleyes

Why do you dislike 11 so much?
Besides not being canon, I don't like people reading too much into platonic relationships. Harry and Hermione were made friends so that it would be an obvious platonic relationship. The hero doesn't always need to get the obvious girl. Especially when he's as dense as Harry is.

My OC/OC pairing would probably best benefit from a night stargazing. 4laugh

heart So so many! Lily and James are just so darn cute with each other. One of my favorite mental pictures is James and Lily sharing a broom. heart Their dialogue is usually so witty it's hard to pick a favorite line, so you'll have to be satisfied with the mental picture. heart
How long have you been following 6?
Sev/Lily. rolleyes I really haven't followed it that much until I got into the rp where I'm playing Lily. But ever since we got the background that they were friends from DH, I've liked the idea of the onesided love/friendship.
What’s with 8? What made you stop liking them/caring?
Ron/Hermione--the fandom is just so large and the fanfics so numerous that I don't want to sort through it to get to the good ones. I'm a bit lazy. *sheepish smile*

Sirius/Remus versus Hermione/Draco--I'd have to say Sirius/Remus. Hermione/Draco you can actually spoof a little, but I've never found a reason to look beyond the mark with the Sirius/Remus pairing.

Frank/Alice or Harry/Luna. Ouch. I love them both, but I guess I'd have to say Frank/Alice because the authors usually have a better grasp on the characters and that makes for better reading. Plus, there's usually some Lily/James in those fics too. hehe ^__^
What interests you about 16?
Bella and Rudolf? Well, just whether anyone actually thinks they are in love. I've been of the persuasion that it was an arranged marriage, so I wonder if anyone cares enough to put a storyline to this couple.
Why did you stop liking 7?
I didn't stop liking Harry/Ginny. Some fics I really enjoy. But I have turned my focus to the Marauder Era, and stopped really searching for Harry/Ginny fics. My main objection to this ship is that Jo didn't give Ginny enough character development in the books, and didn't go into the relationship between Harry and Ginny in any notable description.
Did your waning interest in 9 kill your interest in the original book?
Remus/Tonks did not kill my interest in the books. Like I've said before, I just don't search for fics on them.

Hehe. Waking Up in Vegas by Katy Perry. That's definitely for Sirius and the OC I pair him with now. ^___^ 3nodding

Harry/Luna. confused It depends on what you determine is happy. With a little prodding, DH could be made into a very happy ending for them together. But no, the pairing wasn't what Jo determined to be canon (Though she should have). But the possibility for happy endings is really there.
What would make you start shipping 15?
I honestly don't know. Maybe if I lost a tad of my obsessiveness with the Marauder Era enough to try shipping Neville/Ginny. I did like the relevant Yule Ball scenes in the GoF movie. Those were cute.

Frank/Alice or Lily/Sev? I'm going to go with Frank/Alice for Lily/Sev will always be onesided at the end.

Both! Hermione with Remus or Sirius would be horrible. Why do people want to put her with guys that are old enough they could be her father? xp But a slight leaning toward the Hermione/Sirius fics as the worse of the two evils.

My obsessiveness with the Marauder Era instead of the Third Generation.

Sirius and Remus. Wait, does "deciding the fate" mean deciding the fate of the characters or the fate of the ship? If it is the ship, the ship sinks like the Titanic. The characters themselves, I have no problems with and would probably keep them alive longer than Jo did.

It's a toss up between the ships I listed in the ones I dislike. Eenie-meeny-miney-moe... Sirius/Remus, I guess.

Why do you dislike 11 so much?
Because it was rather out of nowhere and because we didn't know Ginny very well. It's ridiculous to pair an underdeveloped character with the main character of one of the world's most beloved books. Also, because it's too Romeo and Juliet: He's lusty for her (a monster in his chest? really?) and she has a fan girl crush on him. And I hated Romeo and Juliet.
Who is someone you know that ships 15?
I have a close friend who spends every spare moment she can squeeze out of life reading Draco/Ginny fanfics.
What would be your ideal scenario for 3?
I've read several fanfics where Severus meets Lily after he dies. They were all beyond "awwww"worthy.

In the Godric Hollow cemetery when they walk out with their arms around each other.

Ever since I read the Crapilogue and Ron told Rose not to marry Scorpius. x]

It turned out that Dumbledore was gay, and I realized that he never should have been anything but asexual. I just can't see Dumbledore with anyone.

Ron/Hermione. I've already hated the ship and I can't honestly believe that Hermione (my favorite character) would be happy in it. Plus it's the one I've been battling the most fervently since the epic shipping wars of pre-DH. But Harry/Ginny is a close second. I tried to read a fanfic for it once and couldn't read past the middle of the first chapter. It was bad.
Which ship do you prefer: 2 or 4?
2: James/Lily. It has some of the best fanfiction around and the couple was set up for a wonderful love story from the beginning.
What interests you about 16?
I'm not big into slash, but it's extremely popular and I have to wonder whether or not the fanfiction is any good.
Why did you stop liking 7?
I realized that Neville was absolutely epic and that Ginny didn't deserve him.
Did your waning interest in 9 kill your interest in the original book?
Not in the slightest. I always like Harry/Hermione a million times more and Harry/Luna wasn't canon at all, so it and the book were two seperate entities.
What’s a song that reminds you of 5?
Drops of Jupiter by Train. I read a songfic about Luna/Dean with this song and realized it really fit.
If you could have any two of these pairings on a double date, who would it be?
Harry/Hermione and James/Lily. I think it would be a sweet comparison.

They got married and had baby Harry, so I think it's safe to assume so.

I think I'd really like Draco/Ginny if I actually liked either of the characters.

Hermione realizes that marrying Ron was dumb, finds a time turner, and convinces her seventeen year-old self to get over him when he leaves the extended camping trip and tell Harry she loves him. Problem solved.

Either Ron/Hermione or Harry/Ginny. Both relationships are based soley off an attraction to each other, which isn't enough for a healthy marriage. (See Divorce)
Which of these ships do you love the most?
Harry/Hermione. I've loved it since I was old enough to ship and it's still my OTP for any books, movies, shows, etc.

What would be your ideal scenario for 3?
Something along the lines of Neville needing help in Potions and Luna, being a really smart person, tutors him, but kinda confuses him when she gives examples from the Quibbler.
Which is your favourite moment for 1?
I think in the Half-Blood Prince movie when the Death Eaters were attacking the Burrow and Tonks went to fight with Remus because she was worried about him.
How long have you been following 6?
Probably since the first book. I had this running joke with my parents saying that, Ron and Hermione fight so much, they're going to get married. And, whatdya know? We were right!
What’s with 8? What made you stop liking them/caring?
After Deathly Hallows when Ron left and Harry and Hermione are left alone. I can see where people would ship them together because of just that part, but I really saw them more as friends because of it. They didn't spend the whole time having sex, they were playing strategy and kept trying to find the Horcruxes. Yeah, in the movie, they danced together once, but Harry was only doing that to get Hermione to laugh. Sounds like a friendship to me, not a romance. I still love them as friends, just not romances.

Which ship do you prefer: 2 or 4?
I have to say 4. I love the idea of Sirius being extroverted and Remus being introverted. It just seems to work, seeing as neither of them really had relationships until Half Blood Prince, plus they're already best friends. I just love the idea of a smart, quiet guy being with an outgoing, funny guy.
What interests you about 16?
I honestly don't think Severus hated Remus one bit. It may seem like he did, but I think, if you dive deeper into their relationship, you'll see that they kinda had somethinng going on, some kinda connection. Remus wasn't the one making fun of Severus when they were kids, that was all James and Sirius. And it's not like he stopped making Remus's once-a-month potion, so I just think there's gotta be something there...
Why did you stop liking 7?
The more I thought about it, the more I saw that I liked Fred and George brotherly love, not twincest. I love their relationship as brothers, but I guess I kinda mistook that for romance when I said I liked them before.
Did your waning interest in 9 kill your interest in the original book?
No, I don't think so. They didn't exactly have any parts that hinted that they liked each other. I just figured McGonagall and Severus were Dumbledore's most trusted friends.

Not really...they both died, and not exactly together...

Maybe if I found more stories about them that didn't have Hermione being a badass and Remus being perverted...which is exactly why I don't have my story with them just like that up anymore...

Urgh I can't possibly pick! Well, probably 2, since 6 already happened.

I'd have to say 14. I love Tonks and that overpowers my hatred of Ginny, so it would balance out, but Hermione and Krum just don't belong together. Hermione is so smart and pretty, Krum is really stupid and ugly...I've heard of opposites attract, but that's pushing it.
What’s keeping you from shipping 17?
I think my knowledge of Katie...if I knew more about her, then maybe I'd be able to ship her and George together better. Plus, I think people just put them together because Fred and Angelina were together and they thought George needed a girl Chaser. I'd love to find a reason stating that they really were good together, and I haven't found that yet.
You have the power to decide the fate of 10. What's happens to them?
Ginny comes home drunk and starts yelling and cursing at Harry, then Harry takes Albus, Lily, and James and leaves with them to a pretty island off the coast of Europe and leaves Ginny miserable and alone.

Why do you dislike 11 so much?
James was an idiot to Lily for so long. For so long, she disliked him. Then suddenly, in seventh year, Lily turns full-circle and begins to find him charming? I don't think so. The only reason I don't absolutely hate it is because it's canon, and without it the book series wouldn't even be possible, as Harry would have never been born.
Who is someone you know that ships 15?
Quite a few people, actually. I don't mind the ship and do find it cute, but I've never really gotten into it myself.
What would be your ideal scenario for 3?
Urg. Since I'm in a horribly uncreative mood, I'll just reference a fanfiction I'm reading at the moment: Do You Love Me by dragonpearlz on fanfiction.net. Due to a law passed by the Ministry of Magic that states any werewolves without living family must be sent to Azkaban, Hermione decides to marry her former Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Remus Lupin in an attempt to save his life. It's a fairly interesting, absorbing story, and I'm quite liking it so far!

Canon moment? I suppose in the Shrieking Shack during the third book, when Sirius and Remus embrace in a "brotherly hug." ;]

Since February, I think. Realizing even more how much I hated Harry/Ginny, I decided he and Luna would be perfect together simply because they compliment each other so well.
