Rules are needed in order to keep the forums clean from unconstructive/spam/trash/uninformative/repetitive topics and abusive/unfriendly users.

When you are creating a post, make it informative so that people can just look at your title and know what your post is about with out reading it.

To create a safe environment for everyone it is mandatory to follow the rules provided for you:-

-No swearing (cussing) out anyone/anything publicly.
-No racist comments.
-No providing or linking to viruses or harmful programs.
-No pornographic material is allowed.
-No blood and gore material is allowed.
-No posts that violates the Terms of Service.
-No repetitive topics posted by the same user.
-Stop calling someone names if the find it offensive.

Please read the pinned topics in each section before posting in it if you haven't already done so.

If for any reason I close your topic, please feel free to pm me or any other Admin about it. Section, do NOT post another topic again. Please pm the respective Admin about your problem. If you do post a topic again after your previous topic was closed, you will be warned.


-Forum Etiquette and Rules Agreement

By entering the forums, you, as a Gaia Member, agree to follow all the rules and guidelines provided for you in this page. Failure to follow these rules will result in a permanent ban from the guild.

I will be monitoring the forums regularly, and if there is any proof that you broke those rules, you will face the appropriate consequences. Creating accounts to spam the forums will result in an immediate ban from the forums/Guild.

Introduction

Welcome to the Cascadia forum. The focus of this forum is for roleplaying original idea roleplays. The forum is divided into one main forum and four subforums, to help users find the RP they wish to join more easily. I'm sure you have seen this in Barton Town's fourm so lets recover the basics.

This sticky will cover all aspects of Cascadia, explaining the rules and guidelines the forum follows. Please read on, to help guarantee a good time in Cascadia.

Rules
No Cybering!
Cybering, or other forms of sexual situations, are not allowed on Gaia as this is a PG-13 site. If you promote or encourage people to cyber either in the forums or by PM then you run the risk of loosing your thread and receiving at least a warning.
It should also be noted that posting nude images or images that are particularly vulgar or gory are also not allowed. You will be removed from Cascadia with no question and reported.


No Abusive Comments
This includes abusive comments to other users, flaming, trolling, harassment and stalking. You are allowed to swear on Gaia, but you are not allowed to insult other users, go into their thread without permission and start trouble, or refuse to leave after the creator has asked you to. If you are found doing this you will be punished. You will be removed from Cascadia with no question and reported.


No Spam
Spam can be many things, it can be simply an unwanted bump, intrusive comment, causing the page to scroll sideways, excessively long "bumps for gold" or gibberish; these are but a few examples. Either way, none of these are welcome in the forum, if you wish to spam then please do so in the ( will get to it )


No Hate Based Roleplays
Hate roleplays that are negatively directed towards a Gaian's user, race, ethnicity or sexual orientation are not allowed on Cascadia. These roleplays that are found will be removed and the owner punished.


No Advertising
Advertising in the Cascadia-RP forum is not allowed, you may not create a new thread with the intention of advertising. If you wish to advertise a roleplay please post it in the (will get back to it).


No Copying Another RP
Many RPs are very well planned and formed, however copying a thread's material and pasting it as your own is not allowed. However, while stealing someone's written work is not allowed, you are allowed to make an RP with a similar idea behind it. Stealing of another thread's written material is a warnable offense.
