One of my all time favorites, and if you read the books you'll enjoy this.
"Silk!" Garion exclaimed, catching the little man's arm in relief. "What was that?" Belgarath asked, coming back around the corner. "Brill," Silk replied blandly, pulling his Murgo robe back on. "Again?" Belgarath demanded with exasperation. "What was he doing this time?" "Trying to fly, last time I saw him." Silk smirked. The old man looked puzzled. "He wasn't doing it very well," Silk added. Belgarath shrugged. "Maybe it'll come to him in time." "He doesn't really have all that much time." Silk glanced out over the edge. From far below - terribly far below - there came a faint, muffled crash; then, after several seconds, another. "Does bouncing count?" Silk asked. Belgarath made a wry face. "Not really." "Then I'd say he didn't learn in time," Silk said blithely.

I LOVE DAVID EDDINGS!!!!!!! That is, like, my favorite quote too!!
I just read this out of a book I'm reading for my Sign Language class:
"They may not be 'educated,' but they possess a modicum of common sense. (Or, we should say, uncommon sense.)"
(and yes, that is exactly how it is in the book, word for word)

yeah.. read the whole of Belgariad a couple of years back... I would like to re-read them again but they're all on my Mom's attic... going over there for christmas, so I might ask Mr.Tooshie to have a look-see with me... I don't like attics very much: damp, cold, dusty *sneeze!*

One time, as a little girl, I saw this woman on the news who was a paraplegic, and she said something that I try to think of whenever I complain about my life- "Someone will always have it worse then you."
I liked what Einstein also said: "I do not think about the future, for it comes soon enough."
I also recently heard the Christmas Carol between Louis Armstrong and Velma Middleton and their rendition of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (I busted up laughing when I heard this smile "Take your shoes off Lucy, and let's get juicy!" Then with Bing Crosby in "Gone Fishing" "Well I ain't Lazy, I'm just blessed with a lack of ambition." Louis Armstrong "Well don't blab it around Pops, keep it shady!" Bing Crosby
