any decent percussionist knows the basic rudiments. whether or not they can play them is a completely different story cool i know quite a bit of them but i cant really play most of them at a decent tempo, like the pataflafla (anyone notice how a lot of the rudiments sound like pokemon or sumthing like that, GO PATAFLAFLA, USE HYPER BEAM!!!!)

I'm at least half-decent, but I only started learning two years ago. Before that, I learned everything by ear which is pretty hard.
