Rain Falling Down AU

When talking about the ' New Winchester Family' all I can think about is this amazing fanfic written by maychorian ( NOT ME. Just clarifying. ) over on Live Journal.

It is a purely bitter sweet fic filled with love, tragedy, mystery, oh, and our boys as children. Including Castiel.
Yeah.
Gotcha' there didn't I?
Now this isn’t a crappy crack fic so don't think that by having the characters as kids lowers the slandered of story. It doesn’t. It is truly great, and I really enjoyed it so I thought I'd share.

Is it a WIP? I hope it is a WIP, I want more.
I love a good gen. fic over everything else. <3

I really really like Bobby in this one,
he's just so... awesome, really.
I like seeing Bobby as a parental figure,
it's something I can easily see being true.

My favorite parts were the end where
little Dean starts asking Jimmy for help to boost Jimmy's confidence,
and little Dean checking on Sam everyday. So cute.

Yes it's a WIP. That's how I found it because it had been updated recently. I want more though! I'm excited to find out how the story's going to go.

BOBBY IS THE GREATEST PERSON IN THE WORLD.
It is stated so, and this fic just makes it more Bobby's awesomeness all the more noticed. The guy is flipping badass and sweet at the same time. I think Bobby was meant to have a kid because you don't be that great of a parental figure by sheer chance.

And Jimmy has to be the sweetest little boy there ever was. Who would ever want to hurt such a child!? Who I ask!? I find it sad that Castiel unintentionally brings such harm and tragedy to Jimmy. :/ He doesn’t disserve it but it happened more than once. First in the natural time line and then again when he goes back. Poor Jimmy. That’s all I can say. Poor Jimmy.

Little!Dean is the awesomesauce. Soooooo adorable and quiet and sweet. He really is smart knowing that Jimmy was having confidence issues and was a freaking genius in knowing exactly how make him feel better. I love that scene too! < 3 I love how Dean is so protective of babby!Sam. He can’t do anything without making sure his lil' bro is safe first. God I love him. Even John was great if not abrasive. But he just wants his kids safe more than anything.

I'm reading it now, but my eyes are starting to get blurry. I'm on the "And make their quiet pleas for sanity" chapter.
