Mmm, I know the feeling. I always go to the same hairdresser and tell her to 'do something new!' And she usually doesn't, but she never cuts my layers exactly the same twice. And my hair stays properly stright for quite a while. And once it gets wavy again my cut looks totally stupid. But I still love it.

I've never been to the same hairdresser twice.
Then again I've only been to like 3 hairdressers.

Prior to Friday, I hadn't had a haircut in 6 years.
True story.

i'm always such a problem for hairdressers who are used to just cutting straight hair. Dx i've had a few say they couldn't do it, and get other people to (i always say something like, "shave this side and this side 1/8", trim these bangs so they look like this, trim this a few inches, and shave the headband". i'm very picky about my hair. >.<).
ahh, but i love the feeling of getting my head shaved, cut and washed!

Crono725 Prior to Friday, I hadn't had a haircut in 6 years. True story. I remember you telling me you had really long hair!! It's a shame you won't show us photos because I would love to see a before/after. xd How short did you get it? @ repair - I know what you mean about hairdressers who are used to cutting straight hair! My current hairdresser actually has curly hair herself so she knows how to approach mine and bring the curl out. It's so refreshing. I can't imagine what it's like for people who have afros or something. >.> I'm really scared that she'll change salons though and I won't know where she's gone because I only get my hair cut every 3 months or so. gonk

My mom has really curly Italian hair and is always complaining that the hairdressers can't get it right. My hair is straight, so it's no problem. Besides, all I want them to do is chop off the bottom, nothing fancy.
I haven't had a cut in 2 years or so. It's almost to my butt now =D

Lea Fealith I haven't had a cut in 2 years or so. It's almost to my butt now =D :O No chance for pics? sad Was it that long when I last saw photos... um, Denver? It didn't look that long! I wish I could grow my hair longer, but it always curls up so you can't tell how long it actually is, and I get really bad split ends and it goes all gross and knotty, so I have to cut it. sad

It was a bit shorter in Denver. My hair grows relatively fast, it's over a foot or so now. If I wasn't wrapped up in blankets I'd forage for the camera to show you.

on the other hand,
believing you have been promised that your trusted hairdresser will be there for you
and then being assigned to somebody else who disagrees with your style decisions
is like hell on earth.
