Who should have played Edward Cullen?

Some people think that Rob Pattinson was a good actor for the role of Edward in the Twilight movies..but what do you think?

I personally think that someone more good looking should have played him because..well, Rob Pattinson is not suited for the role of Edward Cullen, the "supposed" best looking male character in the books and movies.

To be honest... I like Rob as Edward... ya they could have picked someone better looking.... but he fights that character perfectly

Robs a great choice. They could of picked someone hotter. But Rob is really mysterious. I am glad they picked him. 3nodding

And he was amazing in the Twilight movie

I personally don't like Rob in this role. He was amazing as Cedric, but just not my Edward. I don't think that anyone could have played my perfect Edward. I'm more of a Jasper fan though razz

I wasn't too pleased with their choice for Edward... But, to be fair, I'm not sure anyone could have been the perfect choice. :/
