heart New Contest!!! heart
(for the month of October) Since it IS the month of october this contest will be about paranormal romance!! So here are the rules. 1. make a tektek of your fav paranormal hero/heroine 2. put a description of the hero or heroine below the tektek describing their personality, generally what they look like, and habits 3. Please say what book they are from and the author of the book. The reward is 10K. ( this can also be a chance to invite more active members ^^.)

 This is Mikhail Dubrinsky, Prince of the Carpathians. He is from Christine Feehan's series Dark Prince. Carpathians are an ancient race with extrodinary abilities, humans often mistake them for vampires, however, those who kill innocent humans are derranged versions of Carpathians. Mikhail faces a difficult challenge, there are not enough women for the Carpathian males and they need their lifemate so that they will not become the dreaded vampire. Mikhail is quiet usually keeping his thoughts to himself, he is a loyal leader of his people. He has dark features, dark hair and very sharp eyes. He is close to wolves and uses fire to purify and destroy vampires. Carpathians are also shifters and at night he enjoys running with wolves.

 Acheron Parthenopaeus, in his true godly form. His last name means Spear Maidenhead.(He kinda used to be a whore....) He's an atlantean.(Sorry if I just ruined the book for anyone....) He's pretty much in every book written by Sherrilyn Kenyon and the one called 'Acheron' is specifically about him. He is all male. And I don't want to guesstimate at his age. In his spare time My akri likes to kill daimons. And when he's not killing daimons he likes to hang out with the Simi(means baby....) and his daughter Katra. If your wandering that dragon tatt you can just barely see around that scar on my akri is me. My akri is generally an all around good guy. Cept when that heifer goddess gets her hands on him. But not as good as that Travis Fimmel, now he's quality people. (Just as a note the Simi is his adoptive daughter and a demon and I just did most of that skit in her point of view.)

I don't have a favorite perse although I do have a favorite series. Its the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton.
She is a vampire hunter/necromancer. Who is mystically bound to more than one vampire and lycan.(not just werewolves. has wereleopards, wererats, werehyenas, weretigers, swans,dogs,bears,juagars,snakes) Anita is a federal marshall who hunts preternatural creatures who are on killing sprees. The really gross cases. She fights falling in love. Yet she is in several different relationships. These are not casual ones either. I'm not sure why these are my absolute favorites but they are. There are even graphic novels for Anita Blake Vampire Hunter.

I'm submitting two, Zsadist and Bella from The Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward. (Their book is Lover Awakened)
 
Zsadist has skull trimmed hair, black eyes that were originally yellow (they now turn a yellowy color when he's happy), and a scar across his eye. Bella has dark hair and blue eyes, and is mated to the Brother Zsadist. Here she's holding their daughter Nalla.
Bella was kidnapped by the vampire's enemies, the lessers, where she is later rescued by Zsadist. Though at first he doesn't want to be with her, Zsadist decides to find revenge against Bella's tormentors, and she seeks to help Zsadist come to terms with his past to see he has a future with her.
By far, my favorite couple of the series. ^_^
