At my school and in my district, we always rate bands on their epicness based on how many Sousaphones there are. We have five putting us at the top of our epicness charts.
The most we've ever seen in a band was six. Do you beat that?

We have five this year, but I think our epicness rises becuse one of them is a girl. Not often you see a girl in brass, let alone low brass and tubas

We have six, but I swear I've seen bands with at LEAST twelve sousas before. (Yay, we're a small band in the 5A bracket!)

We replaced them with 3 electric basses, we're a win so epic, it circled around to almost a fail

Well we have an electric bass in our pit biggrin
And one of our DMs plays sousa so for our little four measure section solo, we're doing this weird formation thing and he's gonna come play with us biggrin
It'll be amazing!

Well, I may be at an advantage since I'm in a college band with around 240 people in it but according to my drill book we have 16 tubas. They actually outnumber the clarinet section...which is just weird. There's only 13 of us this year! 3

Two Marching Tubas, including me. We apparently have like 3 but are really beat up. Hooray for having a good school but really crappy school owned instruments biggrin
