The talk of the upcoming tournament had put Brennen in a restless and excitable mood. This involved him stalking about the den like a lion possessed, just about wearing trenches where he went before he headed out into the unforgiving heat of the desert. He wished he was older, but he supposed there could always be more tournaments in the future. Perhaps it'd be enough to sit around and watch one in the future.

He prowled along the main area that involved the dens, keeping his eyes sharp on the lions that moved about. He was going to go find Ripuka'sinzia if he could manage it, see if she'd heard about it yet. And probably give her some hell.

Of course she had heard about it. Unlike her annoying gnat of a brother, Ripu had known about the tournaments for... well, forever, it seemed like! Certainly longer than any of her siblings, and that was simply because she was so well-informed, of course! Bright eyes were watching with careful cunning at the red and black cub that was stalking along the dens, clearly looking for someone. Well, unfortunately for Brennen, she'd found him first!

With a pounce and a roar that wasn't quite as intimidating as that of a female adult's, the girl would try to properly smack into her brother's back and pin him, growling laughter in his ear before she'd flounce off and away. "There you are! Getting into trouble? Or being a good boy and being boring?" She taunted, a grin on her face and her eyes bright with mischievous glee. Meticulously, she pretended to groom at a paw, but her ears were twitching as she listened for any movement. Brennen was still smaller than she was, and there was no way she'd lose a fight to him ever!

Still, wasn't it cute that he tried so hard?
