This question arose because I have quite a few gay and lesbian friends, and they where interested in what I did with the magic stuff. About halfway through talking to them, one of my male friends (Who will go unnamed) said "But we're all gay, doesn’t that mean we aren’t aloud to do that stuff?" This some what alarmed me, so, my question is to you is, do you think its wrong or unnatural for gays to be apart of the spiritual/magical community, and if you want, what’s your general opinion of homosexuals?

In my experience, the magic/spiritual community is a lot more open to homosexuals than a lot of other paths. I didn't know that there were magic police that made sure gay people couldn't practice.

A lot may feel that way due to a lot of Earth-based spirituality's emphasis on God/Goddess, or male/female polarity. Yet, in a bit of a twist, they are the most receptive to their participation and thoughts. I have never met a spiritual, non-fundamentalist group that have rejected a gay or lesbian practitioner.
It may be simple paranoia on your friend's part, or perhaps a "once bitten, twice shy" idea based on previous experience with religious and spiritual groups. Either way, I'd do what I can to reassure your friend that one of the main ideas in most magical, psychic, and alternatively religious circles is tolerance of other beliefs and practices (as long as they aren't malicious, of course).

I would also say that there tends to be a masculine/feminine polarity issue. However, take the physical sex out and understand your base nature and follow your WILL, and really you are following almost the same path as any heterosexual practitioner. I also notice that in the pagan communities homosexuality, or any sexuality wink tends to be more OPENLY accepted and appreciated as part of the diversity of the communities. I've never heard of it being LESS acceptable.

I've never encountered a problem, in fact, it does seem more open to alternate sexualities than other religions.

lol you know if anybody is more prone to psi/magic its actually more likely gay/lesbians because there gender is in there spirit (as this is whare there inner realization of attraction comes from "true/soul gender" one could say).
looking for answers that are not physical gives them a head start into this stuff compared to straight people cause they already realized theres more to reality then what meets the eyes.
so yeah if you can see spirits and energy you can tell if there really gay or not cause if they are for example a physical man will have a female spirit wich gives off feminen energies.
in theory this is the "true gender" because it carries from life to life and is above reincarnication. ( wich means the spirit is permanent but the physical body can change sexes )
thats my did you know for the day : )

That being, that a man being attracted to a man is not really a man, but a woman in a man's body. I'm sure several gay men would contest this assertion.
