but i do assume it would probably be the same as school buses, just with the likely chance of getting rob

Seriously? Public transportation is not a big deal at all and if it bothers you that much, listen to your iPod, read a book, zone out until your stop. Nothing to be nervous about. But then again, I've lived in New York for years.
And starting school isn't much of anything either. neutral
