I guess I don't really have a problem with the religion itself. It's the people around me in the religion I have a problem with.
I like the standards about family, the atonement, and stuff like that. The problem seems to be that we have gone from being the persecuted to the persecutors since there's so many of us around. I also don't really like that being a member buys you a free pass out of facing real responsibility. The whole town will protect you if you break commandments (a big issue is girls and guys having oral sex. SEX IS SEX!!!) And you have to fit the status quo for the perfect member or the town turns on you (I am kind of schizophrenic, and I get rejected, ignored, and was even told that mental illnesses are demonic possessions that we as mentally ill refuse to let go of. What the heck?)
