Midor
For every Spirit, there is a Guardian. This is not assigned nor is it chosen, it just is by the laws of nature. By natures laws, all Spirits are born with a power greater than man, the power to control a part of nature itself. Such a powerful being needed protection however and so Guardians came into existence. Guardians are the beasts that protect the life of their Spirit, ensuring that they are to live a safe and healthy life. And for many years the balance between Spirit, Guardian, and Human remained at level peace. But over the years, trouble began to brew. The humans grew jealous of their cousins. Why was it that humans could not wield such a power as well? In a fit of their jealousy, the humans found a way to make themselves better. Soon after that, greed for power consumed the humans and thus began the Raiders; power thirsty beings bent on killing off Spirits and Guardians for their own personal gain. Now, the land of Midor is all but controlled by the Raiders who have just about killed off the once populous Spirits and Guardians. Only a few remain, and the Raiders will not stop until they are all but extinct.
The Spirits have gone into hiding. Thier once florishing cities have been overrun by the Raiders. There is only one surviving Spirit city and it is under constant attack. It is getting harder as well for Guardians to find thier Spirits and thier only surviving Guardian city is under attack as well. If the Guardians can no longer find thier Spirit whose blood calls to them, then the Spirits will be left helpless and at the mercy of the Raiders.
