Okay, so like my avatar I am a brown young woman, meaning my Mother is White and my Father is Black. Unfortunately I don't have the time or the money to staighten or curl my hair.
So, I am faced with only one option when dressing in Lolita or Japanese fashion.
I
Need
A
Wig
The question I want to pose to all of you is this. Should I go with a wig of my actual hair color? (Dark Brown) in a Lolita style (which is difficult to find) or get a white wig, since the girls in Japan usually have their hair dyed blonde or wigs that are blonde (blonde just looks to weird on me)
Thank you for your feedback! :3

First off, if you have the skin tone of the kids I've babysat for, it is an absolutely fabulous color! Second, I'd go with something that looks more natural. But that's just me. I think a white wig would look weird with that sort of skin tone (it always bothers me on asians...). I have a lot of loli friends and while they're all pasty as hell, they have naturally brown hair. One has very dark brown and it looks lovely with her outfits. (And she's done everything from white, to pink, to green, to black) But what the hell do I know? Good luck dear!

…..:⊹⊱⋛ ⋋❇⋌ ⋚⊰⊹:….. I agree with Mugoi. Since you have a warmer skin tone, it would be more natural if you stick with warmer colors. I suggest a rich auburn, or brown cinnamon. What could help is if the wig somehow has highlights in lighter colors. I don't know if you'd need human hair for that...but yeah. Good luck!

I think that you should go with something natural. Like what the other responses suggested. I'm thinking a darker brown might look cool? or a light auburn.
You've got a beautiful skin tone and you should work with it! smile
Hope that was helpful.

Natural is most likely the way to go. The blond or lighter hair with your described skin tone would look to unnatural in my opinion.

If you want blonde I say go for it 3nodding In my opinon almost anyone can pull off blonde, it's just about finding the right shade.
