What dose everyone like better... Genbu Kaiden or the original S/S series? Personally I like Genbu more because I love Hikitsu! heart

I prefer Genbu Kaiden, because to me Miaka was only good for eating, getting kidnapped, and being molested....at least Takiko could fight!

The warriors are better too...and i love Shigi! even if he is the villian, he's awesome! Nakago actually scares me whenever i try to watch/read the original series

I just think that Yui is such a total stupido for falling for all his bullpoopie. I mean come on, he's not exacly hollywood standard acting. All he had to do was be all lovey dovey with her and she was all over him, wich just shows how desperate she was. In an odd way I like her character but in so many ways she just poos me off. dramallama And also, I think there's a distinctive difference between the life likeness of the characters, it really shows how Watase sensei has grown as a manga ka, and the emotion portrayed in the genbu kaiden characters is so much more intense and realistic. 3nodding

I really like them both but I do prefer Genbu a bite more. ^_^ I just think Takiko is a better priestess, though I do miss Miaka eating. I actually prefer it when Takiko is in her own time though she seems to have more fight to her when those girls at her school get into fights with her where in Genbu recently she's not as spirited.

As much as I may hate Miaka, I prefer the original. Genbu Kaiden gets a bit...I don't know, surreal for my tastes sometimes and I find myself annoyed more than I did with the origina FY.

I like the new one. I have only read the new one though. I have seen the art for the old one and i have seen one of teh movies for the first. I like the new one becasue there isnst some guy saying "ya'know" every five seconds, and i could start my colection in the beguining so i wasnt haveing to buy 15+ books all at once, im waiting for 4 months for the next to come out. I lost intrest for a whiel becasue of the wait bu i still bought them and the romance brought me back. thats what i love most teh way she draws male bodys. Im buying absolute boyfriend on the side now >.< have 3 of her serise
