Kyoko is happy-go-lucky, caring, and compasionate 16-yaer old girl who is in love with Sho, her childhood friend. When Sho requests for her to come with him to Tokyo to peruse his dreams she immediately agrees where she struggles to keep Sho happy. While in Tokyo Kyoko thinks little for herself and tries her best to provide for both of them and keep him happy. However Sho becomes much colder and distant when he hits it big as one of Japans top stars in the entertainment industry.
One day while bringing lunch to Sho at his workplace Kyoko overhears Sho flirting with his manager. To make matters worst he bad-talks Kyoko claiming she's boring, has no sex appeal, and was just brought along to take car of him like a housekeeper. Upon hearing that she becomes outraged and her Pandora's Box awakens.
When Sho hears her he doesn't bother to cover up and just tells her basically that's what he thinks of her. Outraged she attempts to attack him but is kicked out by security only to hear his last threat. That Kyoko can never take revenge unless she surpasses him in the entertainment business. Thus Kyoko immediately embarks on a quest to take her revenge on him as well as regain the compassion and "love" that she lost when Sho broke her heart.
To start out she looks for an entertainment industry and manages to get into an opposing company to Sho's. However she is placed in the "Love Me" group since the president notices she's missing a important emotion, "Love". Along the way, Kyoko will meet lots of people including Sho's own enemy, the popular Ren, Japans top actor.
My Opinion:
I recommend this manga! It has romance and comedy as well as drama. It's a cute story about a heart-broken girl who tries her best to regain herself as well as pay-back the man that hurt her. Along the way her relationship to everyone around her is adorable and funny as well. Kyoko is a strong heroin who doesn't let her heart-break bring her down completely and tries to make those she care about happy. The way she struggles and handles situations that come at her make her appear strong and determined. Also the way she handles Sho's betrayal with mainly rage than a weak feature makes her a different/stronger kind of manga heroin. Check it out!!
