if you've seen the movie what do you think about how it played out?
I was very disapointed that they didn't at least mention a few things... i wont say what, but i feel that they could have done much better. But I am glad that they were trying to use Luna more

As far as book to movie mistakes, HBP did a good job, though they left out a bunch of stuff like they always do, there were only 3 or 4 blatantly incorrect moments, everything else was fairly true to the book.

It was a-ok as far as the movies go.
Dumbledore's death could have been more dramatic. What's a wizard got to do to get an epic death scene around here? He's freakin DUMBLEDORE!!!

I didn't like it, I never like movies that are based on books because they never follow true to the book. So what is it would be a long freaking movie, there's nothing wrong with that, I've watched dozens of old movies that were four or five hours long. Well maybe not dozens... But anyway there were some parts that held true to the book but others were. Like the ending. That's most freaking important part. That MADE the book amazing(even though Dumbledore died crying ). I'm not saying the movie was bad, only that these movie people ought to start making their movies based on books more like the books. (I had the same beef with Twilight, I mean these kids watch the movie and never even hear if the book beforehand and then all of a sudden it's like "wow, there's a book!" and then they read it and it's all like "eww, this wasn't like the movie, it sucks!" I mean COME ON PEOPLE!)

I know what you mean... I was wanting to yell at the movie screan things like... "Wait a minute, Tonks was supposed to find him!" and "They're supposed to lay seige to the freaking school, were's the big battle! And WHY isn't Harry under his invisability cloak?!?!?!" and "Wait a second, what about the dramatic fureral for Dumbledor! HOW COULD THEY END IT LIKE THAT!!!!!"
but it did have it's good moments, and was well crafted, especially if someone watching it hadn't read the book sweatdrop
scream And the Twilight movie was a big pile of CRAP! scream

demon flare scream And the Twilight movie was a big pile of CRAP! scream My friend and I said the same thing when people asked us how we liked the movie. Even people I know who read the book thought the movie was genious. I mean please. It's the same thing with Harry Potter, and why didn't they have the whole ending with Dumbledore's funeral anyway! I mean I enjoyed the books when I was younger, and I'm not one of those people who're overly obsessed with the whole Harry Potter thing (same goes for Twilight, but the books were still good), but still for those who have at least read the books they should keep as much as possible true in the movie. That's what I know I would enjoy.

It was o.k....I expected lots more from the trailer, so I was a bit dissapointed. I think I annoyed my friend a bit since I kept complaining throughout the whole movie with every change I didn't agree demon flare "Wait a minute, Tonks was supposed to find him!" and "They're supposed to lay seige to the freaking school, were's the big battle! And WHY isn't Harry under his invisability cloak?!?!?!" and "Wait a second, what about the dramatic fureral for Dumbledor! HOW COULD THEY END IT LIKE THAT!!!!!" Hehehe, that's just some of the things that irked me the most. That and...why the hell did they burn off the Weasley's home? Don't they suffer enough in the 7th book? scream And they didn't even mention Bill and Fleur in the movie. Then again, movie adaptations rarely (if ever) manage to live up to the book. demon flare scream And the Twilight movie was a big pile of CRAP! scream Agreed. I don't even know why people liked it so much. As far as I'm concerned, if I hadn't read the books, the movie wouldn't had made much sense.... gonk

I didn't like it either. I read all the books and what not, but seriously it just seemed like a filler movie. my favorite parts were with Bellatrix those just cracked me up. but during the rest of the movie I found it hard to pay attention.
