I want to just hover my cursor over a target to see what it is before engaging. It would be so much easier during quests. The gnome majors, for example. How do we know which is major catastrophy until we already have him attacking us?

The ~ key and Q usually target for me so I don't need to click on the animated.
Their names are usually under them after you target.

Or you can click on them, but don't double click or hit an attack button.
