 Oops, another mistake made by the Government. What else is new? Okay, so most everyone knows about the "refined" law about switchblades, right? Well, in the wording [which I frigging cannot find at the moment...], they banned any knife that can be opened with one hand. Congrats, you're awesome 3 inch knife you got for Christmas that you just got done sharpening and can open with you're left hand is now illegal-at least not until July 1st. It is a FELONY to carry anything that falls underneath this description. Looks like I have to go to Sportsman's Warehouse to go and buy a knife and fill the pivot with dirt to stop it from practically moving at all. GO GOVERNMENT! Seriously? They've banned all one hand opening knives?
... well, there goes all the knives except my fillet knife out of my tackle box.
Nice.
Hopefully enough people will go, "Hey! You guys are ******** retarded undo that god damn law."
Christ, the current one is clear enough and now they have to make it 'more clear' and in doing so expand the ban to more knives?
Bravo, they'll do the same thing to guns.

******** my knives can be opened one-handed. I couldn't use them otherwise. My CRKT has a finger stud on the outside of the handle to push the blade open, as well as a thumb stud to pull it open. My Smith and Wesson has a thumbhole. My cheapie (Ruko) has a thumb ********.

 It's a truly FEDERAL law. It only applies to interstate and international travel, and federal lands (like BLM land and national parks), unless your state defines switchblades as "whatever the feds say it is".
