Has anyone else noticed that since Kyle Petty and the boys from TNT started calling the races three weeks ago that the quality of the coverage has dropped a lot?
When Darrell Waltrip and his boys were calling the races, something would happen, and they'd show like 12 different angles and explain it in three languages, but the guys on TNT might mention why a caution came out. A prime example is the end of the race at Pocono when someone spun out in the final turn in the last lap behind the leaders. I waited and waited, but nobody showed any replays of what happened or explained anything. Even at Sonoma yesterday, there were times I was thinking, "What the hell is going on?"
Like, yesterday when Biffle put the back end into the wall it took them like two or three laps to back up and show what happened too. It reminds me of the crappy NBC coverage a few years ago.

i like your polls options. But yeah, they are pretty dry and boring, i don't like how repititive fox is though on certian things. But i really do enjoy the exciting enthusiasm bill weber brings to nascar. neutral

my favorite announcer would be dr. Jerry Punch actually. He's not as annoying as dw but not as dry as bill weber is.

WarriorGoddess ya DW is cool. And the spin at Pocono was Kasey and the only way i knew about it was Soul mentioned it and then i had to look at the lap-by-lap thing on Nascar.com And ya there was so much going on at Sonoma that nobody really heard about. Kyle Busch spun like 2 more time then they showed. They barely showed that Brandon Ash-Joey Logano thing and when Joey had to pit they never mentioned after where he was or what was really wrong other then when they shoewed him getting the tire rub. And pre-race is really boring. They only interview like 2 drivers and post-race is extremely short. Winner, second and third and thats it. yes that is true

I agree, it has gotten worse. Like you said, Kyle Busch spun two more times and they never mentioned it. And what about the 3-car incident with Mark Martin during the green-white-checkered? They showed about 5 seconds of it and went to something else and never did show what happened.
